  Pretty much the same as last time

  Stayed here a year ago, and hoped there would be some improvements. There weren't. Carpet is worn, hallway walls old and dirty, doors worn and fit poorly - this place just needs a renovation. I realize that's a big project, but this is now a Marriott! Some equipment in the fitness center didn't work (bike, some monitors); I mentioned to the front desk it would be nice to at least post a sign. They told me they would talk to maintenance, but nothing changed the next day - and no signs. And the water container was empty at 0630 am. I let the front desk know and was given a bottled water, which was nice. Still, it looked like no one was too concerned about that room. On the plus side, staff were all very helpful and nice, beds were comfortable, water warm for showers, ample outlets, and free (but slow) WiFi.

  Money grab at Sidebar

  Love the Hotel. We've stayed here when it was the Crown Plaza at least 5 times in the past. The renovations they did are very good. Atrium pool is awesome. Great location. However. The food and drink at Sidebar is ridiculously over priced. I understand the margin game in business, so I get it, but $18 for a sanwich, $11 for 6 chicken wings??? Come on. Also, the hot tub was barely hot. I overheard several guests complain about it as well. All said and done, I will probaly stay again.

  Rooms are really bad. A real poor reflection on Sheraton

  Lobby and Bar area were fresh and refurbished. It was down hill from there. Upon checking into the room I noticed that paint was peeling around the window, the A/C unit and exhaust vent in the bathroom were dirty and the shower head was loose. Assistance in the morning for breakfast was very poor. Although it was a $13 buffet you had to wait at the bar just to get a refill on the coffee as only two people were assisting guests with breakfast. My worst experiences at a Sheraton Property.

  Good Deal & Location

  Good value for the location; clean and comfortable. Sounds echo from the center area but honestly its nice to have some background noises while away from home. Tad musty but I pack a gel air freshener which did the trick.

  An unfortunate choice

  See my photos which speak for themselves... but it is the most dirty and run down hotel Ive ever stayed at in the states. Dirty tissues and a bottle cap found on the floor of our room. We sanitized the room ourselves upon entry. Mystery handprint on the bathroom door. Large stains on lounge chair. Poorly fixed drywall. Pint peeling off doors. Badly assembled wardrobe takes the place of a closet. Very thin walls and lots of sound from kids playing in the nearby pool since the pool does not have walls surrounding. (We did not get to try the pool/hot tub as it was absolutely crowded with young families and teenagers - didnt feel good about the lack of social distancing) The low quality hearing system in the room was LOUD and blew cold before it got warm. Could not get a consistent room temp all night. Cleaning staff were friendly. Front desk staff appear unprofessional. Back parking lot was not well lit and felt unsafe. But the worst of it all was the mystery smell in the hallway.... There was a stretch of hallway (about 6 rooms long) that smelled STRONG of raw sewage. This is even though i was wearing a mask. Luckily the smell stopped a few doors away from our room, but it made me wonder if something hadnt backed up in one of those rooms and they couldnt afford to fix it so they just closed the doors... it was BAD. Choose another hotel, this one needs to be torn down.
