  Fantastic Stay

  The view from our balcony was amazing, the heated pool and hot tub were pure perfection, and the room itself was nice and spacious. I loved how accessible the beach was, and how close the hotel is to the Gulfarium (right next door! However, I have to say the best part was the staff! The guest service was superb. Dedric, Jaycel, Paul, and I believe the engineer was named Gary, but I could be mistaken, were all so fantastic and made us feel right at home. Will definitely stay again.

  Relaxing Visit

  The hotel is beachfront and very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff was nice and friendly and a great area at FWB. Great place to stay for a getaway and being close to the beach. The breakfast was ok, some of the food had too much salt.

  Poor GM customer service

  Room was not COVID cleaned as my lotion bottle was empty when we got there so obviously not replaced. Be careful what you book and get EVERYTHING in writing. Booked a stay and play pass under the impression it was Marriotts new program that guarantees 6am check in and 6 pm check out. Paid extra and only booked this hotel for that promotion! Confirmed with both Marriott customer service the day I booked and at check in w/ a desk agent. Check out day comes (day I need late check out because I work and child has school) and all of a sudden it does not include that and the GM created a stay and play pass over a year ago which is not the same stay and play pass that Marriott is promoting. GM offered one room for 6pm but wouldnt honor our second room unless I had it in writing from one of her desk agents. No one gets the benefit of the doubt anymore, so much for believing people could be honest nowadays. Marriott customer service always defers to the property after check in as they cannot force them. Alejandra at the front desk was snotty both times we had to deal w her and not as responsive as the rest of the desk staff. The rest of the staff was very friendly and had great customer service especially the folks at the restaurant/bar.

  Enjoyed our stay!

  We stayed for 3 nights in a King Suite on the 6th floor (top floor) of the Beach Tower. We had an extra large balcony and our view was fantastic! Our room was clean and comfortable. The weather was just perfect and we enjoyed walking on the beautiful beach. The water was still a little cold in early March so well have to come back in a warmer month. Breakfast was included because of our Marriott Bonvoy status. The food and service were good. The Florida orange juice is so good! We enjoyed this hotel and hope to come back again! Fort Walton Beach is great and less congested than Destin. Be sure to try The Shack restaurant!

  Amazing!

  We had a great vacation here! The hotel is older but recently renovated. We stayed in the ocean tower and the view was amazing! It was clean and well maintained. The courtyard is so beautiful, clean, and very well landscaped. The pool is nice as well! The staff was very friendly and any time we needed something it was delivered very quickly. Paul was great! He communicated with us frequently to ensure we were enjoying our stay and he suggested great places to visit. Alejandra was very accommodating and we appreciate how she went above and beyond for us! We rented chairs & umbrellas right outside for our beach days and the staff there was amazing as well! The Gulfarium is right next door which was nice and BoShamps is a must try restaurant!
