  Would stay again

  We were a bit apprehensive about staying at a hotel during the Covid-19 pandemic, but the Four Points Sheraton turned out to be a good choice. Conveniently located - just a few minutes from Highway 400 and from downtown. Very clean hallways and rooms, and we appreciated the front desk giving us wipes to use on elevator buttons, etc. Most guests were wearing masks fortunately. The bathrooms are tiny, but the shower works well and there was an ample supply of towels. Beds are very firm which might not be to everyone's liking. You log on to the wifi without having to enter name or room number: yay! A nice big screen TV. The only complaint was a very noisy AC unit; unfortunately the windows do not open and you need the AC unit turned on - otherwise the air is stuffy. Kind of sad to see the end of the complimentary breakfast in the lobby due to Covid-19, but to be expected at all roadside hotels. There is a Tim Horton's nearby. All in all, a good place to stay in Barrie.

  Very nice staff, clean hotel

  I stayed here for one night and was placed in a ground floor room which was clean and quiet. The staff were all very nice and there was plenty of hand sanitizer on site and cleaning wipes provided in the room. The bar/restaurant was closed due to the pandemic but there are options close by and staff are eager to assist. The staff provided exceptional customer service as I forgot my bag which I did not notice until I arrived home. I opened my email to see that I had already been contacted about my bag and was given a direct line to contact. I arranged a UPS pickup and forwarding the labels. The bag was packed in 2 boxes with great care and was immediately responsive when I reached out for a status update (the UPS website was slow to update). A special thank you to Allen and Amal and any other staff who assisted. I would definitely stay again!

  Never Again

  This was the worst experience we've ever had in a hotel. The people across from us were having a party and kept us up all night. We called the front desk when we went to sleep after 11, things quieted down for a while. Then we were woken up in the middle of the night by more noise from them. We called the desk again . It was 2 am at this point. Shortly after things finally quieted down. The Clerk told us the next morning that they moved them after we called, which means they disturbed someone else. The way this was handled by the staff was unacceptable. They should have never allowed the party to go on as long as it did. Something should have been done a lot sooner. They are incompetent and have no clue how to run a hotel. Next time we will be staying somewhere that discourages guest from throwing parties. I would give this place a zero if I could.

  Safe, clean and super!

  Travel to area regularly and decided to try this hotel. Was not disappointed. Hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable and most of all felt safe! I have tried a few other places and saw many questionable "clients" that made me not want to leave my room. This hotel was different. Staff were nice, they had good Covid protocols, and a nice small breakfast, not just a bag hand out. They even cleaned my room and replaced towels. Other hotels just ask you to bag outside your room. Thank you Four Points! I will be back.

  Work stay

  Stayed here during a work stop over, every thing closed due to the stupid China flu. Sucks that there is never a pool or breakfast room anymore. Every thing is clean to keep China flu away. We were booked at hampton but they are closed now cause of China
