  Ringing in the New Year in sublime style

  We could not have had a more enjoyable stay at Fort dAcre, what an absolute treat! The lodge is stunning and hospitality out of this world! We had such great sightings on our game drive, the ranger was incredibly knowledgeable and told us such interesting facts about the bush. Sundowners at the beach lapa are a must! We had a delicious dinner in the boma at the lodge and spent the final hours of 2020 around the bonfire. Highly recommend Fort dAcre for a luxury getaway, we will definitely be back- hopefully soon!

  A true Gem!

  We couldnt have asked for a better way to say goodbye to 2020 then spending an incredible weekend at Fort D Acre! From the wildlife with all their new offspring to the breathtaking ocean views of the sun setting on 2020. There is a true sense of luxury and attention to detail, I could not recommend a tranquil, stylish retreat more! Thank you Fort D Acre, we will definitely back soon.

  Definitely worth more than just one visit!

  Can't believe it took me so long to get back here! Just as beautiful and peaceful as I remember. A real slice of paradise and tranquility with the best of both worlds, bush and sea! So enjoyed the game drive with a spectacular sunset to round it all off. Just love the views from the spacious rooms and the huge showers were a win! If you are looking for somewhere to relax in the area, look no further! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. I will be back again for sure.

  Away from the city hassle

  Close and yet so far from the city hassle. We enjoyed every moment. Elsa was attentive and made our stay comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Unfortunately we couldn't see the animals, but we will definitely make time for it on the next visit.

  Amazing getaway with the bush and the sea

  What a perfect getaway for couples, and family. Offer everything we were looking for, beautiful lodge, relaxed environment, indoor braai and bar area, but also outdoor braai under the stars, with lovely pool setting to chill. Amazing animals, with a Lapa close to the beach, and really beautiful unspoiled beach. And close to Port Elizabeth, you guys will definitely see us again.
