  A week of BLISS

  It was beautiful! There are 2 shopping centres close by (have your pick). Formosa Bay resort was so peaceful, the staff were friendly and always helpful. I was so happy to see they have little rabbits hopping around the resort freely, this is something kids will definitely love!! The entertainment area was well kept, and has so much fun games. They have so much to do, you'd never really need to leave unless you need to go shopping. It was the most amazing week spent at Formosa Bay and i definitely want to go back SOON!!

  No reaction ons pecial requests

  Something changed, not to the better. We where several times in this establishment. My request for a special room which was already done in december 2019, was never answered. on arrival in February2020 no information of my request at the reception.. that special room was already occupied. We had to take a noisy room(traffic) We booked inclusive breakfast which was all the years before a normal breakfast with 2 eggs,toast,butte,r rashers, juice and coffe. This time the breakfast was cut to one egg,one toast,one coffe or tea or juce or muesli. For a second egg,a second toast coffe and one glass juice you had to pay extra. After my complain at the hotelreception we whre told, that the manager would take action and discuss that problem with the restaurant. Nothing happened. we had to put 2 days breakfast to one to get a normal breakfast. They lost a long time customer. with this behavior, like i said hey changed , but not to the better.

  Very pleasant stay

  We booked for one night on route to Cape Town, we anticipated just a comfortable place to sleep, however the resort surprised us pleasantly with an amazing room and very nice facilities. The reception was very friendly and we were checked-in very quickly. The room was very spacious and everything was clean and neat. The bathroom probably was the most impressive, it boasts a his and hear basin, a shower that is spacious and not to mention a spectacular bath! We had a small balcony which was private and very comfortable. The room was not self-catering, but it had coffee making facilities and a fridge which was very handy to keep our drinks nice and cold. We went to explore the resort and was impressed with the amount of entertainment offered, and there are bunnies everywhere. I would highly recommend this resort for families with smaller children. The pools are clean and very inviting and there is even a rock slide into one of the pools. There was only one negative during our stay, but not at all the resorts fault, our neighbor and his partner had a huge fight and at midnight the sound carried, their children panicked cries unsettling us quite a bit, they was keeping us awake for some time before they were silenced. All in all, I would recommend this resort and will be back again. Thank you for a nice stay.

  We had an awesome stay, we booked the studio apartment as we were only two, lots of entertainment if you have small children, restaurant served an lovely breakfast, staff very friendly. The place centrally situated to you can go drive down to the beach in less that 5 minutes.
