Quiet location but needs an updateStayed at the Foresta Hotel on what was pretty much a gamble as there are few tripadvisor reviews. We booked two rooms, one was the honeymoon suite which had its own dip-pool. The other was a pool side room. Our honeymoon suite really was not worth the extra and in fact it seemed lower quality than the pool room. Both room were very basic. The honeymoon suite selling point was the dip-pool but this was pretty small and had attracted many leaves, twigs etc. It was not cleaned as intently as the main pool was. The other room was next to the main pool and the honeymoon suite is just yards away. The main pool was ok but nothing brilliant but it was kept clean. I was probably the only one using it as the hotel had very few guests so really the dip-pool was un-necessary even though I used it a few times. The area is very very quiet. The beach is across a very small road no more than 2 mins walk. The beach has no sun-loungers, umbrellas, food if you are looking for this sort of thing but I am not and it was in fact beautiful. There was hardly a sole around apart from a few kite-surfers which is the main sport in this area. It was excellent in fact for walking, paddling but if you want to sunbathe you need your own things. Saying that we went about 5 mins in a taxi to the cove you can see and this had many people with loungers, jet ski's, food etc. There is a mini-mart sort of place and a few outside bars which I managed to watch the footy in and the chaps there both staff and patrons were all very friendly. Across the road from the hotel also is the impressive Villa Maroc which we ate at a few times. This hotel is very nice, with impressive views, but was also empty of guests. The food at the Foresta was ok. Nothing impressive which they seem to promote although I did not try their pizza which seems to be their speciality. Breakfast was also a poor affair with little choice. One thing that was an annoyance and not really the hotels fault was the mosquito's here. I usually get bit but in Bangkok where I was for 5 days beforehand not once was I bit this time. But on arriving here it was dinner time for the mosquito's and I was on the menu. I got bit a lot in the room overnight despite spraying myself so it seemed the room attracted them and there was no way to shut them out. I was constantly hearing them buzz around and trying to kill them (even in my sleep) but I came away with a huge number of bites. So it seems all doom and gloom but as I said it was basic with an adequate pool and cafe. There is little to do in Pranburi and we headed back to Hua Hin which which should have done longer. On the plus side were the staff. All of them were helpful and friendly and my wife would speak for ages to them. They gave us a lift in the car to the cove and we hired their pink motor-bike with sort of side car contraption that I took the family out for the day in around temples etc. The grounds were cleaned constantly and the main pool looked after. It just seems they were not that attentive with the rooms. We run out of toilet roll and had the same very worn thin towels for a few days. I would recommend this place if you were on a budget and just passing through for a day or two. We did 4 days which was too long for the area and hotel. Free wi-fi which is really much a must for hotels nowadays was quick and always worked.

Small Resort but good for relaxI stay here 2 nights. I feel relax when I look at around. Room is clean and provides all accessories. I think a swimming pool is too small and this hotel is not closed to the beach. You have to walk little a bit. Room size is small and a lots of mosquito too.

Quiet beachWe've stayed here for 1 night. This boutique hotel look older than its pictures shown in booking.com, but it's not too old. The staffs are very nice and friendly. The beach near the hotel is really quite and view of the top of Khao kalok is really good. Hotel's customers have got 10% discount for every menu in hotel's restaurant. Only one disadvantage of this hotel is they've not provided a bicycle for you.

small and quiet hotelReasonable price. Small hotel with only 9 rooms. The room is average. I stay on Thursday night so it's quiet. Swimming pool and center area were not clean during weekday but everything was clean during weekend. The restaurant in front of the hotel is very good.
