  One of the best in cyprus mountains

  Spacious rooms, clean with big tv and fridge. Bathroom was big as well and clean. Staff helpful and super kind. Swimming pool big and cold in the mornings. Restaurant price is as a regular restaurant.

  Not a 4star hotel

  I will start with the good things. Rooms were good and clean. The employees were all friendly and hard workers working double shift because of low staff. The food of the outside restaurant was very nice. The service was slow. The inside buffet was not so impressive and almost the same food for lunch and dinner. We stayed for 4 nights. The pool outside is nice and big but there was no full time lifeguard. It would have been nice if there was more kids activities. The ping pong room was neglected. I give it a 3 star hotel.

  Horrible staff manners, bad food and noise

  I stayed here with my family for a weekend and this is definitely not a 4 star hotel. After being served a tuna salad that has gone bad on the Saturday, not being able to sleep until 3am because of the bad sound isolation (literally could hear the folks from both rooms from each side and above), i got the rudest response at 7:30 am from a restaurant employee when i asked if i can get some hot water since their coffee machine didnt work. Cheap amenities, dirty swimming pool, poor staff manners, manic parking organisation, and bad food. Theres literally nothing 4stars about this. The bathrooms are from the 40s and the rooms look way too dated. Very disappointed and ashamed as a cypriot that they would promote this as a luxury hotel. Shame

  Avoid Avoid

  Where do you start, greeted rudely on checkin staff not bothered whether youre there or not, 1980s decor, swimming pool dark and dirty, staff in bar/terrace area rude and ignorant, storming around in a bad mood, slamming doors etc. Very poor! Only highlight was the breakfast. On the whole much better hotels in Platres avoid this one at all costs.

  Rude receptionist from Greece spoilt our trip

  We have been coming to this hotel for the last 30 years and have many fond memories of our previous stays, so when my wife asked me if we could have a break from work as we were both very stressed I immediately decided that a couple of days at the Forest Park Hotel was just what we needed. We were exited to arrive at the hotel feeling relaxed and happy to be staying at one of our favorite old school hotels, unfortunately upon checking in we received the most hostile attitude from the receptionist. My first reaction was to become angry but I decided to keep calm and try to not let his rudeness spoil our trip, after checking in I could not get the rude receptionist out of my mind as I love this hotel and felt so angry that one member of staff could upset a customer so much possibly destroying the reputation of such a charming hotel. I see that the previous 2 reviews also complained about rude staff, and would like to plead with the owners or manager to either train the existing staff on how to treat customer or if they are not trainable then I recommend that you replace them with new staff that will give professional service with a smile. We are living in extremely difficult times and I believe many businesses will not survive, so it amazes me how any staff member can be so rude, to me this shows a total lack of respect for his job and employer. By the way I have been in the service industry for 40 years, If the owners or manager read this review please take action immediately, If you keep allowing any staff member to be so rude then customers will simply not return. I hope my review does not stop any one from staying at the Forest Park Hotel personally I will still return but if on my next visit I receive such rude attitude from the staff I will request a meeting with the manager or owner. Please understand that I am only writing this review as I love this hotel and cannot stand to see any staff member destroy its reputation, of course it is possible that the rude receptionist has never received any training on customer service in which case I can partly excuse his behavior. Finally a note to Mr rude receptionist if you read this review and understand that I am talking about you I hope that you will consider my review and try to improve your customer skills and show respect for your job and your employer by not upsetting the hotel guests and causing loss of businesses to the hotel.
