    Best Hotel Experience -

The marvelous view outside the lobby stunned me in the first sight. The amazing service throughout the hotel especially the initiative call for restaurant availability when taxi reservation is asked. The big bath provides big whirling hot tub, steam room & dry sauna where you can enjoy a great bath. The great views are everywhere that all nicely designed. The breakfast is another plus because of the venue, view & variety. I will be back if I am in the area.

    Great service and friendly service

A bit out of Tokyo central but a lovely rural area and within 5 minutes walk of the train station. Limited but a great buffet breakfast and the rooms are fantastic. Spacious with good bathrooms, great assortment of tv channels. Recommended. Id give them full marks if they had a gym.

Great little hotel and conference center

This is a beautiful little property and conference center with a wonderful staff. Hotel rooms are spacious with enough room for two queen beds and any luggage you may have. The room views arent much to speak of, but thats about the only negative. Youre only a stones throw from an assortment of malls, shops, restaurants, and outdoor shopping/rock climbing area, and a train station (Akishima). Its only a 15 min drive to Yakota AB as well. If youre in the area for business or personal reasons, Id recommend staying a night or two.

    Large rooms for Japan

The location of this hotel is a little ways from the heart of Tokyo, so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who isn't working in the area or who has a specific reason to base themselves from this hotel. They offer a free shuttle from the Akishima train station, which is a great service to offer, even though the hotel isn't a very far walk from the train station, maybe five minutes. Check in was efficient after getting to the hotel. The lobby has pleasant views. Room is very large by Japanese standards. The hotel was fully booked for the entirety of my stay, so I ended up in a room with two beds. There was a desk, table with two chairs, a large (for Japan) bathroom, and a mini refrigerator stocked with drinks. The drinks were provided for free and refilled daily, which was a very nice touch. The room was clean and well maintained, very quiet. There isn't too much in the area, although the shuttle takes you up to the train station where they have a mall, movie theater, and many restaurants. I did not have breakfast in the hotel, so I can't comment on that. As far as location, I was staying for work - this is definitely one of the better hotels in the area, I don't think there are many options better in this area, at least until heading towards Tachikawa. It's a little too far from Shinjuku for me to recommend this hotel if you don't have work or plans in the area, but I would definitely stay here again with no complaints if I am traveling for work here.

    Nice hotel but celiacs beware

Stayed there to attend a week long meeting/ conference.Located Akishima Forest Inn is a very nice hotel, lovely aspect, spacious rooms, friendly staff. However, if you are celiac beware. Take your own food supplies and be prepared to shop at the local supermarket or 7 Eleven. Having said this, the gluten free food provided for lunch and the two evening events associated with the conference/meeting was beautiful. Evidence that they could provide GF meals. However, there was nothing (other than lettuce salad) on the other 2 evenings that celiac could eat in the hotel restaurant. The hotel knew there would be a few GF people staying who had all filled out food "allergy" forms. A request for room service for a bowl of steamed rice was refused due to allergy. Not the level service expected from such a nice hotel.
