  Breakfast

  Had 2 fantastic days of breakfast and served by 2 excellent people, Caleb service was brilliant a credit and Tom's cooking was just mmmmmmmmmmm ,nothing was too much trouble and on the second days visit ,Caleb even knew our order .A very pleasant experience and believe the weekend brunch is even better .Shaun is very lucky to have these 2 lads .Peter

  Lovely lunch

  One of our regular get togethers for lunch with friend.Never been to Forest before, we were greeted by a friendly waitress and chose a table near the roaring fire. There was a good offer on Thursdays for tapas & we took advantage of it. The staff are efficient, lovely people & our food & drinks soon arrived I had a pint of very good draught cider & four tapas dishes all good--- fish goujons, lamb koftas, pir pir prawns & batatas bravas all came with sauce or a dip, each one was hot & tasty. I finished off with ice cream also very nice. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the surroundings & the great staff. We will definitely go again & recommend it to friends who live in the area.

  Lovely meal

  We booked a table in the restaurant & after hearing mixed reviews was pleasantly surprised with the food & service. Four of us had different main meals & drinks & was enjoyed by us all. Our waitress was friendly, attentive & helpful. I had a steak which for me was cooked to perfection. We will be back !

  Fried potatoes not roast

  We went for Sunday lunch and it was awful. The meat was chewy, the roast potatoes were clearly fried and the time it took was slow. The only positive thing was that the staff were lovely and friendly and they are the only reason that I may try it again

  One night in Burnley

  Lovely pub/hotel in a nice location. Food was reasonable and the bar restaurant had a great atmosphere. Reasonable breakfast too. the Room was nice, with a big clean bathroom and a great piping hot shower!! I would stay again.
