  Excellent guest house

  Can't find the words to describe Janet and Peter as host at their guest house. Myself and my partner were waiting for building work to be completed in our flat, Janet and Peter were absolutely amazing they made all the stress we were going through at the time so relaxing and comfortable. Helen and Simon cannot thank Janet and Peter enough for a wonderful two weeks we spent at their guest house. If I could give you 10 stars I would gladly do so. Anyone who books to stay at the forest guest house would never be disappointed as you'll be in good hands with Janet and Peter Thank you so much again Janet and Peter for everything you both are a beautiful couple Regards Helen and

  Excellent B&B

  Arrived to a warm welcome and check in was immediate. The room was comfortable and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge, TV with sky tv and a cozy ensuite. Very quiet so managed a good nights sleep after venturing across the road for a decent curry. Breakfast was excellent, made to order, and the owners Janet & Peter were a pleasure to deal with I would highly recommend staying here

  Recently stayed here with my daughter and grandson and have to say it was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, rooms were immaculate! Staff were excellent, breakfast was lovely, we will def be back

  Stay in South Shields

  Janet and peter were very friendly, couldn't do enough to help you. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. This is the third time weve stayed here and cant find fault.

  Absoutely fab!!!

  Forest Guest house was recommended to us as a great place to stay but failed to mention how fantastic it would be. We were welcolmed into the house first by Peter and later by Janet, a better set of hosts would really be difficult to find. To say we left as friends was an understatement. Great rooms, wonderful breakfasts and amazing hospitality. This does not feel like any ordinary guest house/hotel..it feels like a home and that was the feeling throughout..Do not stay anywhere else as this is first class.. We would to take this opportunity to say thankyou so much to both Peter and Janet..Best wishes for the future...Michael and Susan
