  STOP! Don't even think about renting here. How their ad should read! Idea Studio by the ocean! If you like Adventure and mystery this place is for you! First experience will leave you speechless when you experience a king Kong type of German Roach that is the size of your foot, then explore the Mystery of our elevator... step into a poorly lit metal box and push a button and if you don't get stuck on the way up or down immediately buy a lottery ticket because it's your lucky day! Wait! their's more adventure that awaits you. You will find yourself immerse in a sea of puking alcoholics around the building with no staff on hand to clean or hose it off within walking distance to the white sandy beach with more drinks. And we will leave you with your own imagination concerning the pool area.

  Unit 433

  This unit was despicable. Upon entrance the smell of stale cigarette smoke would knock you down. I had a headache within the first 10 minutes. There was paint chipped everywhere, ceiling tiles were falling out, the floor was chipped. The baseboards were disgusting and stained. I didn't not even want to take my children or belongings in. I will never go back to this building. Not to mention the smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling.

  2 star hotel

  The building is old and outdated. The room had a hard bed with dangerous metal frame, and old outdated linen that smelled stale. We found someone elses clothing in the room when we entered. There was trash, dirt and debris above the cabinets. Someone elses hair everywhere, during covid-19. Large gaps in the blinds prevent privacy allowing others to see into your room. The smell of smoke on a non smoking facility is everywhere along with cigarette butts on the ground. The elevator was scary. Riding it to the second floor with it bucking and jumping is only the beginning. Lots of cracks in the concrete for sidewalks and stairs with dim lighting at night. Parking is limited and covered parking is available for about 10 cars. Broken pavement makes parking a challenge in a car and risky on a motorcycle. Air BNB is how we booked it and the price we paid should have gotten us a 5 star Hotel with all the trimmings. We really felt ripped off. Its been more than 20 years since I have stayed in a motel so bad and hopefully never again.

  Great Experience

  these are individually owned condos. ours was rm 213 and was great. I thought the building was clean and saw staff working every day. large nine ft deep pool was wonderful. shady areas to sit and watch the beach if you want to keep out of the sun. elevator was a little slow but not terribly so. a lot of bad reviews on here but my experience was awesome. brought our own sheets and towels. no daily cleaning as this is now a condo.

  The 80's called and want their room back

  And that title is being nice. This place is one of those sad, dilapidated and grossly in need of repair beach hotels that wreaks of mildew, Fabuloso and stale laundry. This was pawned off on us by the individual condo owner who took advantage of our desire to want to have an extra two days to hopefully catch some beach time after missing out due to Hurricane Sandy. We barely stayed a day of two days paid for because it was beyond nasty.
