  Cosy and friendly place

  Checked in in December 2020. This place has shown us some local style experience. Owner is very friendly and can suggest a lot tours and things to-do. Hotel has a small but well made restaurant and you can have a local and international meal. Food is well prepared, portion size is enough. They got a chef from some big hotel and he knows what hes doing. Breakfast menu could be with more options but still- very good for a start of the day. Rooms are bungalo styled, simple but good bargain for a price. Location- 30 seconds walk from fantastic blue beach. In 10 min drive you get to the village centre with shops and restaurants. Over all- very good place to stay, spend time under palms with a drink. Staff members are exceptionaly friendly and welcoming. Happy 2021 and wish FGV the best. Hope to come back soon to explore Zanzibar.

  Lovely time

  Great spirit, nice decor, very kind service. Delicious food. Excellent host always smiling and willing to help. Good localization close to the beach in a calm neighbourhood. You will definitely feel like home there!

  Great Hideaway Great Location Friendly Management

  A great spot for a relaxing get away from it all retreat. Not on the beach but a very short walk from it, no road to cross. Rooms are set around an attractive garden with a low key bar restaurant. Breakfast, included, was excellent and dinner equally good. Other places to eat are within easy walking distance. The rooms are basic but are very light and breezy and fans are provided to help keep cool at night. My only complaint was that the plumbing could use a bit of maintenance, but hot water is available. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful and was quick to learn our names. All in all an ideal spot to relax and unwind.

  Excellent stay

  We had absolutely amazing stay in Fountain Garden! its just a 3 mines walk from the beach.. and this part of the beach was really nice, quiet... unlike Paje, which was a bit crowded with many KiteSurfers.. we visited this part of Zanzibar between Christmas and January 8th. During that time we had no reservation for accommodations so we had to change hotels according to their room availability. We were very happy when we found found in Garden and could stay for seven days. The rooms are nice and clean, quite original style... the staff is one of the kindest ever. The manager is very friendly, super caring, knowing all customers by their names, always making sure everybodys happy... We really recommend choosing this hotel!

  Great chilled out Hotel next to beach

  We found Fontaine Garden Village purely by accident and it is one of the most memorable stays we have had - from the super helpful manager, Nour, to the accommodations and food The atmosphere is laid back with gorgeous gardens and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Spread around are Hammocks, chairs and beautiful gardens. Great music played throughout the day and evening. The restaurant has great food, and they go out of their way to cater to your whims and tastes. Nour even went shopping to buy and prepare some of our favorite foods. The rooms are quiet and very relaxing But best of all was enjoying playing the house puppy, Johnny, and cat, Tango Easy We felt safe and welcome. Highly recommend - great value for money
