  A place to relax

  We make a reservation with a good price for what they are offering. A family hotel apartments in the center of the town with a very sweet owner that help us on everything. Thank you so much Ms. Christina for the help.

  Lovely people

  yes the hotel needs money spending on it but the beds were clean and plenty of hot water.Christina was lovely and so kind,the staff lovely too,nothing too much trouble.breakfast was excellent and plenty of it.hotel was close to town.

  Never again

  Never again The apartment looks nicely on photos. In real the rooms need a total renovation and cleaning. We didnt expect much, just clean room, bed with fresh linen and clean bathroom. Unfortunately ( The toilet and bathroom were disgusting. Bed sheets, linens were old, stained.Towels that were once white, now are grey. 5 euro per day for air conditioning - sounds strange in Cyprus, when temperature is up to 40... Breakfast was served outside, in the nice garden. The variety of dishes wasn't rich, but it is not so important. The food wasn't covered and flies were sitting on it..... We stayed there just 1 night instead of 2 paid. The hosts were so much interested in their guests that we couldnt find them, we left the key at the reception. Dear Christa, please do not reply.   Nice place for a short stay

  The location is good as a base for visiting western Cyprus by car - we did day trips to Akamas and Pano Panagia for hiking and also to Droussa and Cape Drepano. There are several cafes, restaurants and a big supermarket in a short walking distance. The apartment was not new but reasonably comfortable and clean, with a kitchenette and everything you need for a short stay. There was an additional charge of 5 euros for air condition but it was clearly specified when booking (and it was useful for heating in December). Altogether the price was very reasonable, at least out of season. The breakfast was very abundant - English breakfast with eggs and bacon, plus haloumi and olives plus jam and honey and yoghurt and delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. Last but not least, Christina was a very friendly host. Her place is a house with holiday apartments but it has a family feel.

  If you like old derelict buildings this will be ideal for you

  We arrived at 10.00pm instead of 5.00pm due to a 5 hour flight delay. I emailed the them from the airport and someone waited for us to arrive. We were let into room 12 which was absolutely freezing cold. The owners hadnt the forethought to turn the heating on for our arrival so we spent the first night thinking we were on a SAS selection course. They say first impressions last so the freezing room was not good. Then opening the drawer on the dresser followed. Well actually the drawer followed me because when I went to open it the carcass of the drawer didnt move but the drawer front was in my hand. Come light of day, and jumping on the spot fully dressed with every item of clothing we had packed to raise our body temperatures back to somewhere near normal, we surveyed our surroundings more in hope than expectation, we didnt expect much and we were not disappointed. The pipes to the radiators and other areas of the plumbing were strangers to paint but not to rust. In fact it is fair to say that paint and the application thereof in any part of the apartment had not been a priority for at least the last 15 years. If you like stained pillows and quilts, dismantled furniture on the stairs leading to the rooms upstairs, outside areas that David Attenborough could make a entire wildlife series on then I would suggest this could for you. To be fair to Christina, who was very charming, we did not tell her of our concerns, we stayed another night then left and checked into a hotel to continue our long awaited break in comfort and warmth. Why didnt we tell Christina? Because there was no point, it will take a team of builders to renovate the room and to be honest we only had a weeks holiday.
