  Small but nice

  My room was very small, just a bed and a desk. But the sheets were clean and the small bed was comfortable. It's very close to the Shinsaibashi train station, I was able to walk there in less than 5 minutes. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. It is a communal bathroom/toilet but it really isn't that bad. It was affordable and I would absolutely stay here again.

  Cheap and central

  Hi Guys Stayed at Fogainn in March and April , cherry blossom time. Great place very central and close to trains. Aircon in every room. Also walking distance to Dotonborri (the big crab and running man on the river!) and Namba. The hotel was an old house. the owner (Nao) stays there or has workers stay over. They mostly speak English and help you with local sites. My room was small but comfortable and they supply toast and eggs for breakfast, free use of a computer and internet in the small kitchen. communal showers were more fun. a steel box of sorts. Lots of back packers of sorts. Met some great people there. They have rooms with bunk beds for families and groups of people. I travelled away for days and lets stuff there and my stuff was secure and I felt safe leaving it there. I will stay at the Foga Inn again when in Shinsaibashi. it wasn't 5 star but a lot of fun. This is the sort of place you stay when you want to travel around, like to dine out, see some great things. from this location I was able to travel to Tokyo, Herishima, Osaka Tower, Universal studios, Tempozan Ferris wheel and Osaka aquarium, Kobe, Saki, Nara, Kyoto and lake Biwa, Himeji, Nagoya and the island of Shikoku. There is a undercover walkway between Suji, Shinsaibashi and dotonbori that goes between H&M and ZARA what a great shopping strip and some fine sushi. Just remember it is not a 5 star but great place to base yourself from. Have Fun Paul

  Good place to stay.

  Single room was clean and comfortable. Bed was a bit hard, but still had a very good night sleep. Bathroom left a lot to be desired, as it smelt moldy and had little ventilation. Great location and decently cheap.

  nice and homy

  very clean and budget friendly even bathroom and shower room are outside bedroom but i like sleeping here there is also kitchen with complete facilities. gate are open for 24 hours but receptionist only from 8 am up to 10 pm but they are very helpful revisit? YES

  Old house near shisaibshi

  Stayed 2 nights in twin bedroom. The bathroom and toilet are Dirty and need some improvement so as the kitchen. They do provide some toiletries and towel for free. Security might be another problem, the main entrance is open for 24 hours without lock/passcode
