Close to Great BeachFlynns Beach Resort is well positioned for the beach holiday. The resort is a few minute walk to a great beach with a great little Surf Club Cafe. The resort is ideal for families with 2 pools and good BBQ facilities. It good get a bit noisy in peak periods so keep that in mind if you are looking for a bit of quiet relaxing. The rooms are a bit dated but were very clean & comfortable. Comfortable bed but an awkward shower as it doubles up as a spa. The resort has a direct gate to the Blue Water Hotel which is a nice place to dine or have a afternoon drink. A couple of small restaurants are located a short walk away as well. For those who love a walk - they have a great coastal road just out the front. Well worth the effort

Paradise - loved itThis is a beautiful resort in a great location. Very quiet at night. Huge apartment with lovely views from the top floor. Great pools, lots of wildlife. Friendly staff. Lovely cafe nearby at Flynns Beach. Absolutely loved it.

Lovely stayLovely apartment, well maintained & extremely clean. Spacious modern two bedroom. Ideal for a self catering holiday. The whole resort appears well looked after, the grounds, pool etc. very inviting. A bonus is all the amazing wildlife you can expect to encounter there (including kookaburras, water dragons, bush turkeys), all surrounded by lush vegetation & fragrant flowers. Would love to return.

Worst experience everAfter booking well in advance and requesting disabled unit we were denied the unit told it was first in best dressed.. to add insult to injury I had to navigate myself on a walker up 3 and half flights stairs, whilst my step daughter had to carry her nearly 8 month bub up and down the stairs. The internet was very slow when was working but majority of times wasnt available. The stay Itself was fine its just the staff that are the problem.. checking out today I get a call to say Ive been hit with $200 cleaning bill as the rooms smell the lounge and carpets were dirty ... so NOT TRUE we vacuumed everywhere this morning stripped single beds washed dried sheets and did all washing up and removed rubbish. The only bed we didnt strip was main bed as we used it for changing bub this morning... we had disinfected rooms with glen 20... reception claimed they had to wash curtains and have lounge and carpets cleaned.. I call lies

Family friendlyWe booked a number of apartments for a family vacation this January school holiday. Overall, the apartments worked, and though we were in differing blocks within the resort, the layout of the apartment blocks & pathways were easy to navigate, and not maze like. The grounds of the resort were extremely well kept, the swimming pools clean, and the barbeque areas a relaxing shady spot to stop. We were very happy booking three apartments for a family vacation. Our complaints are few: 1. If you are expecting, as we did, easy access to the tennis court, which, is advertised as being a resort facility, you will be disappointed. The tennis court is on a shared corridor of land, operated by the 'club like bistro' next door. Unlike many resorts where use of facilities is included in the rack rate, not so the tennis court at Flynns Beach Resort. 2. The apartments are advertised as fully self-contained, but there was no conventional oven in our top floor 'premier' apartment, nor was the kitchen kitted out with kitchen appliances beyond the basic. 3. Cutlery, flatware & dinnerware was odd and incomplete. Apart from those complaints, we recommend Flynns Beach Resort for families. Young families could easily spend the whole day at the pool and the welcoming green space, without ever walking down the little hill to the scenic Flynns Beach or taking in the views on the 9km coastal walk.
