  Weekend get away

  Flippers had been recommended to us so thought we would give it a try, we were very disappointed in the accommodation, in their leaflet it states a high standard of accommodation, there was no kettle, cups etc, etc, there was a double bed upstairs with two pillows and two sheets with no extra pillows or covers if you got cold! The apartment was not the cleanest, shower was electric and bloody hot, could not control with no other hot water in either the bathroom or kitchen area. The patio chairs were dirty, our rooms were not serviced at all while we were there. Now on to breakfast, a very small selection cold cheese, fruit, cold baked beans cold small sausages, boiled eggs, (none of the (hot) food was kept hot. Plus they are charging top prices, I'm sorry to say we will not be returning.

  AVOID - FULL OF PROSTITUES, POOR ACCOMODATION, ORDER FROM MENU

  Avoid this place like the plague. The accommodation is very poor, order from the menu where you see prices and what you should be paying and do not fall for 'I will make you a special meal' you will be stung with a high bill for poor quality food!! Whilst we were there a number of obvious prostitutes and their clients were staying, this is not a family place to take your children. This place is not value for money, rather stay in a proper hotel or rent a villa, much better value. The rooms have poor quality appliances and the furniture is old and tacky, plenty of use. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

  Excellent

  My wife and I are staying in a nearby villa and have been here 3 times for dinner and 3 great meals and great prices and very good service would highly recommend and will definitely go back . Try garlic fish its amazing

  Great pool

  My husband I called in to see the accomodation which is made up of 20 self catering units. They have bedroom upstairs, sitting area small kitchen and bathroom with shower downstairs. They units were clean, and comfortable. We have not stayed there yet but are looking into it. We went there one evening and had an enjoyable meal in the restaurant which is open to the public as well. Next day they allowed us to use the pool which was lovely and clean. Had lunch as well, I had a lovely hallomi salad. The owners and family are lovely and make you very welcome. There is the family supermarket on site as well which is very handy. You can book the accomodation via email and they will arrange your taxi to and from the airport for you (payable). You pay in sterling (from UK) for the accomodation when you arrive.

  Fantastic Location & Host

  Papa Arif and Son Ahmet, I am writing to express my appreciation for the quality of service you offered me and my husband of our long standing stay at the Flippers Holiday Village. It was our 2nd time here! We had a wonderful experience. Despite of the many offers we received from others hotels, we decided for your hotel because of the unbeatable deal you offered us. It was very good decision; We enjoyed the excellent location being just across the street from the Mediterranean sea, the backcloth of mountainous green and the familys friendly hosting offered in all the facilities of your lovely hospitable bungalow resort when dining. Staff members with whom we came in contact was attentive, kind and professional receptionist - who also mapped out a lovely walk along the coastal beaches - great room service, on-site market and ample free-parking. I just wanted to let know how much we valued that effort, having been used to five star hotels - how gracious and how greatly we appreciate everything that you personally and your staff did for us. Located in the hubbub of activities, beaches and coves perfect for swimming, diving centers, kayaking, mountain hiking, historical sight-seeing with the New Promenade ambiance compliments reasonably priced local restaurants/bars/cafes - reasonably priced. The whole area of Lapta is a beautiful world. We will definitely recommend your resort to our friends and family. Also note the airport is only 45 mins away.
