  muy bien ubicado

  fuimos en familia, departamento con 2 dormitorios y 2 baños, muy cómodo, muy bien ubicado, facil de moverse a todos lados, recomendable! a la vuelta de la plaza federación. la única critica es que el wifi en la habitación no llegaba, lentísimo a toda hora..., reclamamos en 2 oportunidades sin exito. la recepcion tiene horario limitado.

  Big apartments very aged

  HUGE!! Apartment sadly that's the only plus two small pillows in the first room no spares thinnest walls in the world you can hear the second room as if they are laying next to you oven took hours to cook the most basic of food when approaching staff to tell them about it they looked confused and unwilling to help don't think they understood English elevator of doom that bounces after getting to the floor TRUST ME TAKE THE STAIRS my wife and I walked 6 flights everyday our Apartment 6 A is pretty run down doors coming off hinges etc I don't think it gets used much no view to speak of exept of the office a cross the road we didn't stay in the main building so I can't speak for it but Cavendish House is a let down I'd stay elsewhere on a return trip

  Great location

  The apartment we had was perfect for 2 couples. 2 x master bedrooms 2 x bathrooms The kitchen was really well appointed, everything you needed. The apartment was large, clean with a great location. Walking distance to everything in Melbourne. Highly recommend this accommodation.

  DO NOT STAY! Unsanitary thick black mould and a penthouse that isn't!

  We went to stay a night here in February 2020 with our 3yo and 4yo child for our last night in Melbourne. We thought we would 'splash out' and rent the "Penthouse Apartment" - what a mistake! We lasted about 30 minutes to an hour before leaving, all feeling ill. When we walked in the room absolutely stunk of mould/mildew/musty smell - we disturbingly found the cause of the smell to be very very thick black mould. For starters, a penthouse apartment - "a flat on the top floor of a tall building, typically one that is luxuriously fitted". This is not on the top floor, and is most definitely NOT luxuriously fitted - it's not even clean or sanitary! So don't be fooled in to renting this thinking you are going to be staying in luxary. From the moment we stepped out of the lift it was a bad experience with warning bells! As we exited the lift we heard a dog barking in a neighbouring apartment, raising sanitary and nosie concerns. Upon entering the apartment at first it looked impressive due to its size, but it was very quickly evident it was absolutely filthy, poorly furnished and not well appointed. The floor was visibly dirty with marks and dirt patches and stains. Unfortnately before noticing it I took my shoes off and my feet were filthy after walking around for a very short time. The skirting boards clearly had not been cleaned in a very long time - they had dust caked on so thick you could wipe with your finger and leave a mark. The fridge, microwave and oven had smears all over them. The bedding looked about the cleanest thing in the apartment but it had only two tiny pillows for a big bed. The most concerning thing - my children pulled the cord on the blind and revealed thick, caked, black mould - see the pictures submitted. This was not only unpleasant but black mould can be very dangerous. I am so glad we found this and had decided not to stay. There was other black mould throughout the apartment. I raised my concerns with the staff member at the front counter. He was empathetic, but said he was not able to help because there was no manager on until the morning (this was around 6.30 to 7 pm). On reflection we should have insisted he call the duty manager. He did show me another room - but it was just as unpleasant. The carpet in the other room was very tired, loose, stretched and in my opinion also posed a safety concern. That room was also poorly furnished and although somewhat cleaner than the "penthouse" it still did not smell or look clean. By the time we left we were all experiencing varying degrees of allergic type reaction and feeling unwell, with our 4yo son and myself worse effected. We were experiencing sneezing, irritated eyes, headaches and irritation in our noses and throats. The best thing I could say about this property was the feeling I got getting out of there! I will be reporting the property to relevant authorities so hopefully the matters get addressed!

  Convenient location

  We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was clean and comfortable but starting to look a little tired. The bath was chipped and there was some mould on the bathroom tiles. Plenty of space in the living room and it was good to have an air conditioner in February. Beds were comfortable. The location is the best part. We didnt use the kitchen very much but it seemed to have everything, including a dish washer. The floorboards do creak and we could hear the people on the floor above us walking around. Not too much of a problem. Very close to the CBD and within walking distance to pretty much everything. We went to a concert at Margaret Court Stadium and it was a 10 minute walk. Very convenient.
