  Very overpriced

  Very basic room with single beds that we could push together but they would not stay together - a bit rubbish for a romantic weekend. Breakfast is also very basic. Not sure what the castle in the promotional photos is - the actual hotel is in an unattractive, purpose-built modern building. It's was good that you can rent bikes and e-bikes there and the location is very convenient for a short bike ride into town or to the beach. I just can't get over the price though, we paid over 200 for one night and I would have considered it overpriced at 100. It really is unacceptably basic for the price.

  Awful

  What a pity... the hotel looks nice from the outside. The entrance, the corridor, the lounge, the restaurant are beautiful but... The rooms are ... there is no word... We wonder how this establishment can remain open.

  Muy buena ubicación

  El hotel está hospedado en Renesse. Un pueblo turístico en la provincia de Zeeland. En el pueblo puedes encontrar muchas tiendas y restaurantes. La habitación estaba muy bien, amplia y la cama muy suave. No habían sonidos fuertes por lo que podíamos dormir tranquilamente. El baño tenía un poco de olor, a pesar de la ventilación. El desayuno tenía mucha variedad y todo estaba delicioso. Hay suficiente lugar para parques y conexión wifi. El personal del hotel fue muy amable y muy buen servicio.

  Very enjoyable stay

  This was a very enjoyable stay, with a warm welcome from reception, a lovely dinner and a very comfortable room. The dinner was very good and tasty however my only small thing that I would say is the dinning room look a bit tired and dated and needs an update, but that's only a very small point. The breakfast was very good and the staff were fantastic, the check out the next morning was very quick, friendly. Would I stay here again, yes I would, sure it probably needs a bit of freshen up and its a very good hotel and close to everything.

  Mixed feelings

  First of all, be ready for a surprise if all you have seen is official Fletcher pictures of the hotel; it's bluntly misleading showing only pictures of the castle, and none of the rooms; motel part is located a few hundred meters away from the castle The overall impression of Fletcher Renesse made me want to call this a motel, rather than a 4 star hotel. Rooms are basic. We stayed 1 night in a normal and another night in a "luxurious" room. Rooms are clean and serve their purpose. As mentioned by others, no mini-bar, no aircon (wonder how hot it gets during the summer), even no hairdryer although you can rent one it seems (we prepared and brought are own). We had no warm water (cold shower!) for a day, that's why we got upgraded to a luxurious room the next night. Breakfast is decent, enough to choose including bacon & scrambled eggs, nice bread, croissants, etc. The restaurant we didn't try. What's really missing is a bar area, sure they serve drinks in the restaurant at the dining tables, but it doesn't have a comfy casual feel. Staff is helpful & friendly. We've seen prices as high as Euro 200 a night ! I wouldn't pay that and even think the deal price of Euro 100 a night we paid is a bit steep for a "motel". So it's mostly the location close to a castle one pays for it seems.
