  OK for a short stay

  I stayed here for two nights. The hotel was priced cheaper than other hotels in the area I needed so this was why I picked to stay here. The hotel, for the price, is OK. It could do with the bedrooms modernising, but, you get what you pay for. All in all, I was happy with what I got for what I paid. Breakfast was a bit expensive I thought at 16 euros. Unlimited hot and cold food and tea and coffee. There was an issue at the hotel as the water main had burst right outside and the hotel was really struggling with the water supply. Sometimes there was no water, sometimes only cold water. The hotel did a great job for me and arranged for me to shower etc at the neighbouring hotel, which was only 2 mins walk. So, it wasn't ideal, but they did try very hard for me and I was satisfied with this customer service. The hotel is kind of in the middle, it's not really a budget hotel, it's better than that, but, it's also not quite as good as others in the area, but for the price, I was very happy.

  Very Disappointing

  The Hotel is in need of a considerable amount of TLC ... not the cleanest or the most attractive establishment, in short, I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you are absolutely stuck. The reception carpeting in places was threadbare and the dining area was swamped by flies, not much to choose from with regards to breakfast. Wouldn't recommend staying here unless you were having difficulty in finding a room for the night ... The plus-side plenty of parking spaces ...

  Do not recommend

  Check in was easy, in our way to the room we noticed a hole on the roof and a pot on the floor to collect. Rooms are very small, also tv is very old and small. Not sure how it is recognized as a four star hotel

  Poor for a 4 star category.

  Poor for a 4 star category. Dark, small rooms. During the week's stay, our room was cleaned only once! The service was not very polite. The room had old, ugly, creaking furniture. It was very dark, you could not read the book before bed. The room has neither coffee service nor a fridge. The hotel did not have written information in the room in English! We were shocked. The hotel is a bit from the sources or the lake. We saw other, nicer hotels at a similar price. We are not going to stop there anymore.

  Not Good

  Booking was last minute to avoid covid curfew issue. Arrived at hotel at 8pm. Receptionist explained that the kitchen was closed (even though there were still 3 people working in the kitchen) and it's too late to order out due to the curfew. I was shocked that they couldn't arrange even the smallest thing to eat or drink. I was given a room with the view of a roof. Everything was dated. There was no mini bar or hot water kettle. The cold water from the faucet was warm. This is not a four star hotel. The room had a strong smell of air freshener. This is never a good sign. After a few hours. The bathroom smelled strongly of cigarettes. At 4.30am i was woken by two cats fighting on the roof. As if they were fighting to their death. It was then that I smelled the strong oder of cat piss. It was probably there before. But the air freshener covered it up.
