  Buen sitio

  Un sitio bastante original. Buen bar y restaurante que sirve rápido y buena comida. Habitaciones limpias y grandes. A 5-10 min en coche del centro. Tiene parking y y en Wi-Fi. Muy buen desayuno y buena atención del personal .

  Worst treatment by hotel after room charge errors!

  Stayed here for last night of our break to visit war graves in France and Belgium in August 2019. Stayed with my elderly parents and son. My parents were in room 6 and my son and I were in room 36. At 11.30pm a stranger walked into my parent's room when they were in bed frightening them as you can imagine. He apologised and walked out.They wrongly assumed it was a member of staff up to no good as they had a key( the door had been locked).My parents ended up putting a chair under the door handle and got no sleep for rest of night as they didn't want to ring me due to a long drive home the next day. In the morning I went with my mum to reception. The staff were uninterested,making excuses and an apology was not forthcoming, just blame for another member of staff for double booking the room to another guest who checked in late. As it was our last day we put the incident behind us, paid and set off to catch our ferry. Fast foreward a month to when my bank statement arrived. I was shocked to see a payment taken out by Flanders Lodge as my mum had paid for both rooms when we left. An email battle followed for many weeks, Flanders lodge had my card details from the booking with booking.com but denied this. Eventually, with the help of our bank we proved they had taken the money wrongly. They begrudgingly repaid £8 less than I was owed blaming it on exchange rates etc. I was refunded the difference by booking.com in the end as Flanders Lodge said they could do no more. Shame on you Flanders Lodge!! Still no apology for their disgusting treatment. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and never encountered poor treatment like this. Do yourelves a favour and stay away, they don't deserve your custom!!

  Not worth the visit

  Insufficient parking next to a main road. Poor welcome of a unfriendly and incompetent staff feels more like random amaturism and no professionalism in this Line of work. This hotel was the only negative of our visit at Ypres.

  Most sad expirience ever

  Never had a so bad expirience ever. To far from the city center. WiFi did'nd work or a bad connection. Argument at the front desk with the staff and other mad cliënts. Thin Walls and noisy room. We even did'nd stay.

  Bigger than it looks and highly recommended

  Flanders Lodge is just outside Ypres town centre. The welcoming staff speak perfect English There's a good bar, pleasant outdoor drinks area, big free car park. Ours was a large, pleasant room under the roof pitch, very comfortable twins, with good linen, towels etc, bath/shower in a very quiet part of the complex. This hotel is a series of lodges all linked . There is a lift. During Covid the breakfast arrangements were excellent, efficient, safe and pleasant. Very nice breakfast, a mix of continental with patisseries, yoghurts and fruit plus in our case , scrambled egg and bacon. Choice of heart coffee or tea. The breakfast was copious and delicious. The entire hotel is scrupulously clean and well cared for. Our deal was very good for the quality of our stay. The Lodge is very popular with groups of mature cyclists enjoying the flat trails and roads and streets of Ypres.
