  The staff were welcoming at check-in and helpful through the stay. I stayed in the thatched guesthouse (old barn). The room was comfortable and clean. I was surprised to see a single bed, but as travelling alone this wasn't a problem. There was a football game on TV the evening of my stay which highlighted that the walls are thin! Despite this I managed to get an excellent sleep (best in 2 weeks of travelling). Our group ate in the hotel restaurant for dinner. The menu had a good selection of local cuisine. The meals were delcious and very large. Breakfast was also good.

  Wish we could have stayed longer

  We had a 3 bedroom which was spacious considering we travel with a wheelchair. The price was reasonable and the room was very clean. You can go around to the front of the hotel and climb one small step into the dining room or manage 3 steps from the hotel room side. There was enough variety for breakfast and our friends used the pool facilities every morning. There are 2 nice playgrounds right across the street from the hotel. We ate both nights at the hotel and the menu had a good variety of choices. Serve was very efficient. Since we arrived late arriving on the first night, the restaurant waited for us.

  A place who knows the mening of full-service

  We used this hotel in relation to our golf-weekend. A good tone and always followed by a smile. They got everything settled and in order. We have brought a package knowing that in some countries this could be bad. But this was perfect, nice grooms, very good food and the typical german breakfast table with a lot of options.

  Lovely location for a workshop

  We were here for a workshop. We stayed in the rooms, met in small meeting rooms, and ate every meal here. I'm not sure what it cost, as it was covered. The rooms were comfortable. Not super large, but there was a desk and a chair, and a view to the garden. There was the usual Germany tiny duvet and no extra sheet for if the duvet is too much or extra blanket if the little, thin, duvet was too little, but this seems a national thing. The meeting rooms were OK. Wifi was free, but a bit of hassle to obtain codes for all our devices (you need a code for each device, and to re-sign in a lot). The food was good. Broad choice at breakfast, and generous coffee carafes instead of having to ask for a new cup all the time. Lunch was nice; different every day. Dinner was lovely. There was generally a meat, fish and vegetarian option, and the latter looked really interesting. Soups were a bit salty but varied, and offered twice a day. the beer was fresh and there's a good and cheap schnapps menu. Service was friendly. The area is lovely. The meeting rooms are a bit stuffy and the elevator was broken, but really was great for a couple days' work.

  Great place. Should have stayed longer

  Great place with good foo, superb breakfast and very friendly staff. Next time we will stay two nights and bring swimsuits to enjoy the pool. Great place for both the Lübeck Christmas market and the market at Pronsdorf
