  Had lovely time

  My.mum was staying over the new year as she had hospital appointment in gobowen she had lovely break and breakfast was lovely. And staff help my mum while she was there and help with getting taxi to her appointment thank you both xx

  Nice B and B - great alternative to the chains

  I was in the area with work and seeking something that wasn't the usual dull chain and that's what I got. Parking is plentiful and right next to the b and b, I was greeted by the owner and cat (I see this as a good thing) but it was clear if I'd not been cat friendly he'd have been taken away. I was in room 5 up in the attic - yes the stairs are steep but the house is old that's what you expect. Room looked newly decorated and was very comfortable. It is next to a main road but I was not disturbed by the road noise at all and slept really well. Think you need to be a very light sleeper for that yo be an issue Woke to the smell of breakfast which was home cooked. Shower also good. Nice touches like a basket of the things you might have forgotten in a corridor ie shampoo If you want to escape the chain hotels this is good - felt like staying at someone's home

  Great place to stay

  Really happy we booked this accommodation with friendly host Debbie. Room lovely, bed comfy slept soundly even on road side and fab breakfast. Couldn't ask for more with great view of Castle, Debbie's beats the usual chain hotels.

  Fabulous B&B, lovely views and excellent location

  Stayed here in August. Very welcoming and comfortable stay. Due to covid regulations Debbie had an excellent system for breakfast. We ordered our choice the night before and then it was delivered to our bedroom the next morning with a welcoming knock at the door and placed ready for us to pick up. The room was very clean and a lovely comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious with a lovely shower. Our room looked out onto the castle and moat with its swans and ducks. Outside the front door Debbie sells duck food for feeding them. A very pretty outlook indeed. We wanted a nice chilled night away from home and that is exactly what we got. There are 2 pubs within yards of the B&B which both did food and were also very hospitable. Can definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again. We also felt very comfortable here too with regard to the current covid19 regulations. There was antibacterial hand cleansers and on each floor there were wipes and sprays for use if required. We were visiting Chirk and Pontcysyllte aquaducts which were only about 6 miles away so the location was perfect.

  Overnight stay

  We stayed overnight after a local wedding booking at short notice. Lovely BnB in a great location. The lady who runs the place was extremely friendly and made me and my wife feel very welcome. We stayed during COVID and she had put into place the appropriate measures. Nice comfy beds and a good nights sleep. We would definitely recommend.
