Ski breakWe stayed at this perfect location hotel for 4 nights. We got the train from Munich to Zell am See and it was a 5 min walk from train station to hotel. The staff were very accommodating, promptly replied to all emails! Sorted our skipass, recommended ski hire. Center location but also nice and quiet Fab buffet breakfast We will be back

Wedding partyWe stayed at the Fischerwirt from the 25th January for 9 nights. We booked the ski package which was a great way to get everything sorted at once. The hotel is small, cosy and well maintained. Due to it being so, the hosts & staff get to know you better, making a much more personal experience whilst staying there. The food was very good, breakfast consisted of bread, cheese, cold meats, cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, scramble eggs, sausages, bacon, croissants, cakes etc. You picked your choice of evening meal at breakfast from either a meat, fish of veggie main course. The rooms were on the small side but very clean, beds very comfortable, bathrooms spotless and there was a nice terrace balcony where you could sit and people watch. The hotel is situated a couple of minutes walk from the stunning lake. There are a couple of bars either end of the small road where the hotel sits, which meant that it was quite noisy at night after midnight till the early hours. This wasn't too much of a problem for us as we had been skiing all day, had been out enjoying ourselves at the bars in the evening, so fell asleep as soon as we hit the sack. Everyone from the staff to the hosts are very welcoming and accommodating at the hotel and we would highly recommend this place. We were part of a big wedding party and we all enjoyed our stay there. The skiing at Zell Am See was fantastic and the hotel is well placed for the 5 minute walk to the ski hire shop where you could keep your own skis & boots. So this meant you only had to walk in your ski boots for a minute or two to the ski lift. The whole experience was lovely and was the perfect setting for our good friends Layla & Daves wedding.

Charming HotelStayed for a week of skiing during Feb half-term. As to be expected the hotel was very busy, but all of the staff were very welcoming, polite and friendly, (if you holiday at this time you will know that is not always the case). The hotel is full of Austrian charm, well appointed (including a very good ski room) and immaculately clean. The food is of the highest standard and plentiful. Location is central Zell am See, front facing room with superb balcony views of Mountains, Lake Zell and Grand Hotel. Highly recommended, hope I get the opportunity to visit again.

Another trip to ZellHaving visited Zell Am See previously on a number of occasions the town and attractions were already known to our group. The hotel could not be more central, which is great. And the option to leave your skis and boots at the Sports2000 at the bus station, again a big plus plus. Staff were lovely, and always attentive. We never ate evening meal at the hotel but breakfast was included, my only very small comment is I would a served breakfast rather than a buffet. But I do understand why the hotel opts for this method. Great week had skiing. Thank you

Ski tripOn arrival the reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had paid for a superior room with Crystal ski and the allocated room was very nice but quite small. As I am a non skier I asked if it would be possible to have a bigger room. This was swiftly provided at no extra cost and suited us much better. We had requested a room at the front which had balcony. his was to sit out and watch the world go by. This was a mistake as it was very noisy at night, particularly from 3.30am on the Thursday as they were setting up for the Friday Market. The hotel is very well placed for all the resort has to offer. Drinks are reasonably priced for a 4 star hotel. All the staff were welcoming, attentive and seemed happy in their work. Although the food was not to our taste some nights it was very well cooked and presented. The buffet nights were the best for us. Breakfast was plentiful and a good selection. We asked to use the pool one day at the hotel Romantique but the cost was 15 euros which we felt was too high considering it is run and owned by the same family. All in all a lovely hotel, great staff in a great position.
