  Just alright

  The hotel is located in the middle of the city, thus making it easy to walk about. The room is very simple and the price is over valued. The counter staff are friendly but no housekeeping service. If one needs to use an iron, it will necessitate a trip to the counter and a cash deposit of 200 yuan.

  Clean room , good facilities and spacious room

  We stayed for one night and we like the hotel . We booked a Family room. Spacious room and clean . Breakfast spread is limited . Nearby there is a night market and quite a lot of things to shop . Convenient and good value .

  Oh dear.... ouch.....

  What to say??? A disappointment. Clearly a business that is not doing well/failing?? Sad to have to write this First the ok stuff. The hotel is quite new so its clean an no signs of wear (I know why!). Rooms are basic but ok. Bathroom is functional but lacking anything special. Now the not so good. AC did not do so much to lower the temperature. My room was 27C when I arrived and after running all night it got to 25C. I cannot sleep in such a warm room. No windows that I wanted to open due to noise This shower while clean had poor water pressure and the water was luke warm at 7am verging in cold. I like hot showers Breakfast was poor. There was no selection. The few baked items were stale. A long table had a few offerings of yogurt and watermelon. A plate was delivered to me with a fried egg, some julien vegetables and a sandwich and a bowl of wilting salad and two small chicken winglets Oh ... and a small bag of sticky rice The coffee machine was broken but the temporary one was ok. This was the best part of the experience. All this for about $75us a night. I hope there are other hotels in the area.... I wont be back.

  Best hotel in PingTung

  We have a close friend in Pingtung and basically we go visit every 2 years. This was the first time staying at the "quite new" Fish Hotel. We first checked in for 5 nights and re-checked in after a short trip to the South. I left my blanket in the room after the first check out. I called the front desk on the same day and they already put it aside and arranged for me to pick up when I return for the second stay! Very helpful staff! I suspect not all the floors are fully in operation yet, the elevator would stop at 7th and 11th floor every time. Pro: 1) Very close to the night market, 3 minutes to walk and very safe to walk, even as I am a young woman walking alone at 1am. 2) Clean room 3) Helpful staff, at least one front desk staff on duty speaks good english 4) Breakfast provides both western and taiwanese selections 5) Walking distance to the train station is about 15 mins 6) Walking distance to town centre is about 15 mins 7) We got upgraded to the corner room with curve floor to ceiling windows Cons: 1) Laundry is located inside the staff room, it is required to ask the front desk for access 2) Bathroom has a glass window facing the beds, it can be a problem if traveling with friends. 3) There is one step at the front door without any marking, it can be a tripping hazard

  Convenient spot with good service

  Service here is professional, the check in and check out process is being done efficiently. During the stay, the staff is very eager to help. The room is clean and tidy, the setting was not commonly seen with three windows. Nothing much you could complaint taking the price into consideration.
