Worth consideration, good priceWe were impressed with this hotel as we received good value for money-large clean rooms, hot water shower and bath, large balcony overlooking the ocean, large pool, very quiet, american breakfasts included , good wifi in room, cable tv, excellent staff with a manager who tries his best to make guests feel welcome. A good mid range hotel on the quieter side of the island but still central to all amenities.

Good Hotel, shame about the locationGood clean hotel, excellent rooms with balconys overlooking the sea, but in Bo Phut! Dont be fooled by the location yards from the beach, as it has no access to it and when you travel down the road to get access you will be even more dissapointed as the beach is small and dirty, and not used by anyone other than stray dogs. This small resort of Bo Phut has one main road with places to drink and eat, but does not have the feel of a smaller quieter resort. Instead it is full of sex bars, and not what you expect from here, so you might aswell stay in the more popular resort of Chewang where the is a much better beach, and more to see and do.

Watch out for wet, slippery tilesOn arrival in January 2011, my mother had a dreadful fall as she was keen to look at the wonderful view from the 4th floor bedroom verandah. Unfortunately, the tiles on the verandah did not have an anti-slip surface and it had been raining; she went over, cutting her inner arm very badly on the metal patio door base and has since been hospitalised for a week on our return to Phuket. The hotel itself is clean but would suggest don't take the breakfasts as there are quite a few eateries near by. Hotel management were not too interested after she returned from hospital on the day of the accident and I am considering possible action on my forced return to the UK to support my mother who has to go for plastic surgery on her arm. BE WARNED!!
