  Being renovated now

  Hotel is very well located in the centre of Sundsvall. That causes problem with parking. In front of hotel you can park max.2 hours but from 16:00 till morning is free. There is nice big gym and tasty breakfast. The biggest disadvantage is renovation. They are doing it till 18:00 and it is terribly loud.

  Nice two night stay

  Spent two nights in a junior suite. It had a nice standard with a sauna, bathtub and separate shower. The rooms seemed to have been recently refurbished, but it showed very obvious signs of bad quality work. USB-outlets for charging seemed to be wrongly mounted, some details in the bathroom were loose and/or not correctly mounted. Still, given the rate i paid i would return without any hesitation as the staff were very friendly and the included breakfast was ok, despite Covid-19.

  Nice rooms

  Hotel is very central. Rooms are big but a little worn down. Theres no cleaning in the rooms but new towels etc can be requested. Breakfast buffet is OK. Theres a cooperation with a gym in the building which is far better than the average hotel gym. Restaurant was not open in the evening - probably due to COVID-19 restrictions

  OK stay but not perfect hotel to work from

  The room was quite small but newly renovated so everything felt fresh. There was no tea kettle nor fridge. The WIFI was OK but we could not work with our office computers since the network in the hotel was not secure. This is the first time we we ever encountered this problem in staying in hotels in Sweden this year. The breakfast was very good including a variety of warm and hot food. The whole breakfast felt Corona safe as it was a big room and we were one of the very very few guests. The personnel eating in one big table during breakfast time, were more than the number of guests. We were irritated with 2 female personnel who were chatting secrets and occupied the middle of the buffet area so we had to wait and give signals so they could back off. Hopefully this was an exception. Parking at a very reasonable price (30 sek/24 hours)is on the harbor just 5 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is also still in the middle of construction site since our last visit to Sundsvall in summer this year. There is no nice view around the hotel. All personnel in reception were always very nice and service minded. We were even allowed to check out almost 2 hours later, which is very special.
