  Este Inn es muy bueno. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, tienen nevera, microondas y un tv pequeño. También cuenta con aire acondicionado. Los baños son grandes y bien equipados. Incluso hay calentador de paños! El servicio es bastante bueno, aunque hay que tener claro que éste no es un hotel full service. Sirven un desayuno, todo hecho en casa, aunque puede resultar algo escaso. Es tipo bed and breakfast, sin menú. No hay almuerzo ni cena. En las tardes hay un happy hour con algo de bebidas y aperitivos. Está muy bien situado en los Outer Banks.

  Grounds are so fun!

  The inn is great, but I find we are really enjoying the fun grounds! Excellent location and lots of character. Very relaxing atmosphere. Close to shopping and Jockeys Ridge. Staff very friendly. We will be back!

  First Colony Inn is a unique B&B. We enjoyed daily breakfast and afternoon wine/snacks. We had some issues with our first room, but when I reported them to management she immediately upgraded our room and moved us. It is across the street from the beach, but you cant see the ocean because of the sand dunes. The beach area was great though. We went in July, and it was nice to have our own space and not be overcrowded like at a chain hotel, especially with COVID. The pool was nice too and we were always able to get chairs. The grounds are maintained and everything looked great.

  Fabulous Safety Under Adverse COVID-19 Circumstances

  The Inn manager and her crew always do a great job of cleaning rooms, putting out a healthful and attractive breakfast, and welcoming their guests. This October, we ran our annual photo workshop there, and we were really impressed with the attention to detail in keeping everything sanitized to ward off COVID-19. Breakfast was served in rotation "by appointment" but we chose to have ours delivered to our room so we could sit outside and enjoy the nice weather and fresh air. While they could not clean our room because of North Carolina regulations while we were there, there was no shortage of fresh towels or other supplies if we needed them. Everyone was always very cheerful in spite of working under challenging and adverse circumstances. They even have a COVID-19 page and adhere to CDC guidelines. Kudos to them all, and as usual, we will be back!

  Great, Safe Stay - Well Run Inn

  We had a great short break at the end of December. It was a very rainy few days, and the area was quiet. Outside access to the room was a key factor in our decision to stay here. The Inn was extremely clean and we felt very safe from a COVID perspective. The room was well stocked for our family. Breakfast was well done and well organized. Very accommodating for our late arrival on New Year's Eve. The Inn has great access to the beach, and while we could take advantage of it, lovely outdoor space. We look forward to coming back in spring or fall!
