Your average ski hotelOur room was rather small: only just enough room for a bed, closet, small table and two chairs, but it was quiet and clean. Make sure you request a room in the back; it's a lot quieter (other people in our group complained about noise from the street). Location: quite okay: about 20m from a bus stop towards the slopes (around 9 in the morning, there's a free skiing bus every 15 minutes). If you want to go to a supermarket though, prepare to easily spend 15 to 20 minutes on foot, uphill. Food/drinks: food is okay but not more though; we got the same accompanying vegetables several days in a row, and some of the plates are rather bland, but most are quite good. The drinks are another matter: prepare to pay separately for your drinks at the end of EVERY meal. There's no way to put it on your room number and signing to pay at the end of the week (same thing at the bar, by the way). So you best make sure to have plenty of cash (there's an atm a few 100m further up the road). And then there's something I have never encountered on a skiing holiday before: it's not possible to request tap water on the dinner table. There is free wifi in the hotel, but certainly during peek hours, it's rather slow. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, it's an average ski hotel, with nothing really noteworthy popping out, but I enjoyed my stay.

Friendly owner and staffhad a good experience, very friendly owner who went out of her way to make sure everything was ok. hotel is a little dated but the room was big and the bed was comfortable. the breakfast was basic but is what you'd expect considering the hotel is cheaper than other places.

An unwelcoming experience! They did not have a room with a queen sized bed that I had reserved. When the owners were called to address the situation, they became indignant to the point of being unwelcoming - a very curious position given that they are hosts and were in the wrong in this case! By the time they had apologized, I had decided to move to another location.

Good (ski) hotel and restaurantWe booked this hotel as part of a ski package (bus, ski pass, hotel half-pension). It's a quite basic hotel with rather small rooms (unless you are lucky like us and have a third bed in the room). But the room was clean and daily serviced. There is also a free sauna available. Breakfast was good. For dinner we could choose between 2 main courses, and we got starters, salad bar and desert. All very nice. And now drinks during dinner and at the bar were charged to the room, and settled at checkout. The ski room has a heated rack to dry your ski boots and store your skis. If you are looking for a good hotel for skiing, not too expensive, I would recommend Finkenbergerhof.

Very pleasant stayWe booked the special offer of 4 nights woth half-board and a 3-day skipass, the price was cheaper than other hotels of the same class. Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay! The owner is very friendly and ready to help. The room is nice, big enough with comfortable bed. The wifi is fast enough. Food is rather average (very basic brealfast), but certainly not dissapointing. Waiters are professionals, friendly and quick. Wellness is OK, 3 types of sauna. Skiroom is big enough. Overally we really enjoyed our stay and I cant think of anything unpleasant. Worth the money.
