  Penryn short stay

  Lovely location, wonderful property and great owners. My wife and I spent 3 nights in Penryn visiting our student son. This was an ideal location for going out in Falmouth and the surrounding areas. The room was comfortable and clean with everything on hand inc stunning views across the countryside. Breakfasts were superb with a wide choice from cereals and fruit to a full breakfast and everything in between. The owners could not have been nicer and went out of their way to make the stay a success. The little extras like complimentary cake each day really added to the experience. This will now be our first choice whenever we go to Cornwall. Highly recommended.

  Beautiful

  My daughter and I stayed at this B&B whilst visiting Falmouth University. The overall experience was exceptional and nothing was too much for the owners. After a long drive the welcome was lovely with a cup of tea and mince pie. After being shown around we sat and relaxed in the conservatory space with the warmth of the log burner and festive decorations. Perfect location for Falmouth being just a 10 minute drive and near the University. The accommodation was beautiful and homely with every need met. Breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked which set us up for the long day ahead. Would definitely recommend visiting

  An amazing find!

  This is an outstanding B&B in a lovely, quiet spot. We were met in the car park by the owner offering us a large umbrella because of the rain. The accommodation is perfect with tasteful decor, great views and everything fresh and clean. We were given a pot of tea and a home made brownie each on arrival. Ive never had that before! We even had a guest lounge all to ourselves so we didnt have to sit in our room all the time like you would normally. The breakfast this morning was outstanding with high quality food produce used. The price is very reasonable for the quality of accommodation and service provided. We would love to come back again, perhaps for a longer stay so that we can enjoy it all the more.

  Thank you for a wonderful 3 day stay. Sal and Jerry thought of everything, the house was spotless and the garden and views dreamy. Breakfast was huge with so much choice, juices, cereal or porridge followed by a full English breakfast tea or coffee. We returned to Fig Tree after it was allowed to reopen as we knew everything would be done to make us feel safe and secure and so that is what happened, no worries or concerns whatsoever.Social distancing was always well over 2.0 metres There is so much space with 10acres plus, with great views. Falmouth with its restaurants is almost fully open, those near the Maritime museum very safe and secure but booking is essential for evening meals. We suggest when booking that you speak to Jerry and Sal who will be very pleased to answer any queries.

  Perfect

  Another lovely relaxing visit to Fig Tree House. Fabulous views, beautiful rooms, superb breakfasts and wonderful hosts. Jerry made us feel so welcome and we really appreciated all the extras such as coming home from a long walk to find scrumptious homemade cake and retuning to a warm fire after an evening meal at the local pub. Thank you so much. Looking forward to seeing you both again soon.
