  Recomendable

  Es un hotel muy sencillo pero tiene lo necesario para un par de noches, es antiguo pero para el precio que ofrece creo que está bastante bien, tiene un restaurante muy bueno con comida italiana, los precios del restaurante no son baratos pero llegamos tarde y no sabíamos dónde buscar algo más económico, cenamos ahí y la verdad era rico. En la recepción hablan inglés, lo mejor de todo es la ubicación, está muy cerca de la estación del funicular para subir al glaciar, que por cierto es precioso!

  Lovely town and hotel

  It was only one night while traveling around Switzerland. The Hotel and rooms are very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Staff very friendly and buffet breakfast is great. Yes I will return there to spend more time at the balcony looking to the mountains :)

  Just fair hotel

  The location of hotel is not really very far from train station, it's just the uphill walk with luggages that took more effort than expected. The room is large enough and the view from the balcony is nice (though noisy sometimes as the road is just in front of us). There is even strawberry planted there (though we didn't eat it at the end). The bed is too soft and we couldn't sleep well. The breakfast variety is limited (actually never changed for my 5 days we were there). The hot milk was cold most of the time (except the last day when we went down to have breakfast at 7am). The reception almost always had no one there, though the receptionist is nice enough when she was around. We had to take the key ourselves when we arrived the first day after rang the bell a few times and stayed there for 15 minutes.

  Brilliant for our school ski trip

  The hotel waited for us to arrive very late evening, and served us dinner which was great. Clean comfortable rooms, with kettle, cups and tea/coffee. breakfast - continental and plenty of it. Packed lunches were brilliant, and evening meals were set menu of typical Swiss food - great for non faddy kids! The hotel owner could not do enough for us. Tip - if going with a school - help the staff to clear up at the end of meal times (pass the plates), or help set the tables if using the room until later in the evening. I am sure that that bit of effort went a long way!

  Trust and kindness

  We didn't stay in the hotel but we had a great experience with it. Because of the snowstorm, we arrived very late at our cabin in Fiesch and had nothing to eat. We walked around town during the snowstorm but everything was closed (it was 10h in the evening). Our last option was Fiescherhof, the restaurant was already closed for take-away, but when we explained our situation, the receptionist opened the kitchen only for us and prepared a delicious take-away dinner for us. While waiting he gave us an energy bar and a drink because he realized we were cold. When we asked him how much we owed him, he told us to bring the money (reasonable price) in tomorrow. The effort the hotel did, and the trust they gave us, was incredible. If they do this for non-guests, their service for guests themselves must be just perfect! We're sure we'll once book a room there in the future.
