  Basic Pension with unfriendly owner

  I stayed at this pension as part of a large group of friends. All of us had small children ranging in ages 1 -6. We thought this pension would be ideal as it markets itself as a family friendly place. Unfortunately, the reality is very different to the marketing. The owner just didn't seem to like our group from the word go. We were the only 5 families staying in the pension but it seemed like we were just an inconvenience to the owner. Firstly, after advertising on another booking website that children up until the age of 6 stayed for free, we discovered they weren't free. Another advert stated that every room has a sofa bed. They don't. The owner used this as an excuse to charge us extra for the 2 nights we stayed there. Apart from feeling that we were conned, the pension didn't live up to it's advertising. It advertises a children's play room. This consists of a big room (that's quite cold in the winter) that contains a broken pool table with no balls and a rickety table tennis table that is not quite flat. And that's it. The petting area is a fenced area at the rear of the property and contains a goat, some chickens, some rabbits and a pot bellied pig. The children got to look at them from afar but no petting seemed to be allowed. WiFi was also advertised but had very poor coverage around the property. The owner blamed this on the nearby mountains. Breakfast was a fairly basic but this has to be the first place where no fruit was provided apart from 1 chopped up tomato to feed the 5 families. To summarise, all of this could have been forgiven if we paid the price originally agreed upon, but due to the attitude of the owner we just felt ripped off. With so many other reasonably priced pensions in this area, I cannot recommend this place at all.

  Very friendly host !

  I had a very nice stay in Fertinghof. We organized there a yoga workshop during 6 days. The host was very friendly, the house very nice and the food very good. The rooms are clean, simple all that we need are there. And the area of Roggenboden is very nice !

  Lugar para ir con niños

  La señora es muy agradable y el lugar es muy tranquilo. Hay que decir que las vistas muy bonitas y el sitio tranquilo.Para ir con niños está muy bien porque dentro de la casa tiene para jugar al ping-pong, coches de pedales, billar y futbolín de pago, unos cuantos juguetes (cocinita, libros,para pintar,un circuito de cochecitos....), detrás de la casa tiene una zona con 2 cabras, conejos y 1 cerda que les puedes dar de comer. Pero lo que le falla es el alojamiento, la habitación no olía muy bien, ducharse es un poco incómodo y el desayuno correcto pero justo.
