  An awful stay!

  This place is pretty odd. A throwback to the 90's, with rooms to match. Initially we were given a room that hadn't been cleaned, complete with dirty towels. We weren't too bothered by that. We were moved into a room above the downstairs eating (and as we later discovered, partying) area. As I say the rooms are dated, but this one at least was reasonably clean. There isn't too much around the hotel so we went to their pizzeria for dinner. This to be fair was pleasant, reasonably priced and good service. The worst was to come. On getting back to our room at around 11.30pm there was loud singing/shouting down a microphone and music. Someone's 18th Birthday. Lovely. We expected this would stop at the latest midnight. Despite calling down to reception it went on till 1.30 am. If you don't mind dated rooms or feeling like you have an Italian man in your room with you at 1am shouting indecipherable jibberish, give this place a go. If not I'd try somewhere else

  Very friendly staff, super food

  We stayed for a long weekend in this hotel after having dinner a few months ago. We arrived Friday late but could still enjoy a very good meal. Our room, which was basic but with all necessary comfort was right above the restaurant and had sea view as requested. We booked directly at the hotel and not with booking.com. The hotel has also an outside swimming pool and pizzeria but was not open during our stay.

  Post exam treat

  We came in June With our girls who had finished exams. Arrived late Wednesday pm and the staff were excellent showed us our room and even tho it was late the restaurant agreed to make us something to eat. Staff. Lovely and helpful and hotel is a gem. Yes decor maybe old fashioned but our rooms were clean and Tidy Wifi worked and we were very well looked after Breakfast in hotel was plentiful and meals in the restaurant at night were excellent. It's a lovely place very friendly. Views accross valley superb. Would love to go back and will certainly try Prices excellent for both accomodation and the meals and drinks. Thank you for a good time

  Terrible Experience

  This hotel was recommended to us by a friend. Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant stay. To start the elevators were not working properly. We ended up walking up the stairs but luckily they had staff to carry up the luggage for us. We were given the best rooms with views but we had to be asked to be moved. The smell in them were terrible. It seems like it was just fumigated and the chemical smell was just lingering even after leaving the windows open. In each of the 2 rooms one of us were ready to vomit from the smell. We got moved to rooms on a lower level which was helpful but the smell was still lingering for me. I had to sleep with the windows open to get fresh air. Staff do not speak english so we were fortunate we were traveliing with friends who spoke Italian. The rooms are decent size as well as the bathroom. The room felt clean. The included breakfast was mediocre. They said they baked their own bread and cakes. Unfortunately they were very dry. the price to stay was inexpensive

  Fully booked - superb food

  When we arrived we were told that all the best rooms were gone, that we would have a small room but a bottle of wine with dinner to compensate. The room was up in the top of the building but actually quite cute and cosy, with a lovely view up the valley behind the hotel. The bathroom was fully equipped and en suite. The hotel was hosting an 18th birthday party but despite this the restaurant staff were very attentive and the food quality is excellent. Home made bread, great vegetarian and meat courses and superb wine. This is a lovely location in Silvi, heading to Silvi Alta so up away from the clamour of the beach and town, a slightly quieter pace. We would definitely choose to return.
