  Very enjoyable stay would highly recommend

  We stayed with two friends (two couples) for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The accommodation was very good; so peaceful and relaxing, with large spacious rooms and comfy beds. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice despite us being the only guests staying at the time. Sadly, the restaurant was closed for the winter season but Mr & Mme Cocquerelle made us most welcome and were the perfect hosts. We all hope to return at some time in the future.

  Fabulous French Hospitality

  My wife and I have just arrived home after traveling nearly 400 km from your hotel. We would both like to thank all the members of the hotel for the great service and hospitality that you have shown us. The wheelchair loan was a stroke of genius for which we are grateful. This is a lovely place and great food. We hope to revisit very soon

  Charming Farmhouse Hotel close to Calais

  After a long drive from Geneva we needed a good night's sleep with good French food. Situated in the myriad small lanes inland from Boulogne and Calais you will find this oasis of calm and tranquillity. The rooms are simple, clean and well equipped and the restaurant in two small rooms is delightful with an excellent menu selection or a la carte choice. The wine list is small but well balanced - the Burgundy we chose was delicious. Breakfast is served in another location overlooking beautiful gardens, and for France, where breakfast is not deemed to be an important meal, was good.

  Over Priced and remote

  On arrival we were told that the only rooms available were the top rated, we assumed this was because the hotel was fully booked, but we were the only guests, so we felt ripped off. Dinner was OK, rooms in need of TLC, the best thing about the stay was the boiled egg at breakfast it was excellent.

  So lovely and relaxed

  We stayed here as its very close to Eurotunnel. It was the last day of our holiday and its so special. Very dog friendly, great people, food and country setting. Its a lovely family hotel and the son was extremely welcoming to us and Bella (our french bulldog). Brilliant and we will be back - Rowland
