  Gestapo Hotel

  We saw this 4 star hotel on its homepage, and were thrilled by the beauty of the hotel. But when we arrived in the afternoon. We found out that there were 2 hotels. One new nice one, where the picture on their homepage was taken. And an old worn one, where we should live. The room we got was very small. And outside was a church bell their rang every 15 minutes. I do not realize how this hotel can be rated as a 4 star hotel. We have booked this family hotel with an all-inclusive package. We went to get our supper. But first our children on 8 and 10 year, was yelled at by the waiter, because kids was not allowed to take from the menu, without an adult present. When we left. I would bring a glass of juice to my room. The waiter yelled and screamed so much that my 10 year old daughter started crying, and wanted to go home. After that she did not even dare to drink anything on the room. Because she was afraid of the waiter. I might be that Austrians read all house rules before moving into a hotel. But we dont. And would have preferred somebody explained the rules to us, instead of yelling at us. I do not find the attitude very family friendly. The food in the restaurant was very heavy German dishes. It was not good, but also not bad

  I recommend excellent ...

  a hotel that deserves class, if you like the specifics and the Austrian traditions is the best in this location; the location is super in the mountains, the mornings are great; breakfast and fantastic dinner ... the modern and spacious modern rooms ... the indoor and outdoor swimming pool are great ... it is worth to get some rest and you have everything you need; the staff is very kind ... free parking, the internet is not free ...

  Nice hotel to stay with the family

  We spend a long weekend there with our two kids. The hotel offers a nice pool area and the people are friendly. Probably its not an hotel you would like to stay as a couple only. Food at the restaurant is average and didnt really convince us. The views out of the room are nice and you can overlook a large piece of the valley.

  Beautiful location with a warming welcome

  We stayed there for a week for our ski vacation. The hotel is in very beautiful location, rooms are bright and clean. Food was very nice too, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel offers indoor and outdoor pool. Hotel is near to ski areas - 10min by car to Kaltenbach ski lift.

  The restaurant does not feel safe for Corona

  The restaurant has relative many guests on an indoor small surface. Therefore I got a fearful feeling for Corona disease. Although the tables are one metres separated and people wear face masks while walking, the number of guests on such a small surface is not healthy nowaydays. Recommendation for the owner: Do split the diner in two groups Although the quality with respect to price is very good, we think this place is more 3 stars than the 4 stars it has.
