Excelente ubicacion.

stay away!!they did not answer to email and to many telephone calls for the check-in. From the restaurant behind they say it is an arab guy managing it, he was just in front of the apartment (found after 30 minutes, the apartment is not easy to find) but he told us that the apartment was in another building. I had to find another hotel at double price!! and they say to Expedia that I never called and that someone was waiting for me!! Stay away from this fraud!!!

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!!!!the whole thing was an absolute nightmare from the word go. I was never able to get in contact with anyone so we went to the apartments blind so to speak. When we turned up, there was no reception which we knew, no one waiting for us and a locked gate which we had to ask a resident to let us in. When we did get in, there was no sign indicating there was accommodation there and one of the residents abused us because she hates the company and the guests disturb her and her family. Of course this interaction confirmed that there is accommodation - it was just a matter of finding it. We knocked on doors and one of the other guests answered and told us that we will just have to keep calling until we get the guy. Sometimes it takes awhile they said. They gave me a number which I called and was further abused by a Mr Lenard telling me that he doesnt want to be disturbed by me and to stand by the church and wait for a lady to come and give me the key. (What church? Where? But he just hanged up on me.) My sister and I went together and left our husbands with our kids and found what we thought was the church and waited until the lady came who then asked us to follow her to get the key (?) We followed her AWAY from where we thought we were staying for 20 minutes until we came to a random apartment on the other side of the square. She told us to wait here and left us to get the key. She returned 10 minutes later and by this time we were feeling really unsafe and suspicious (new city and all.) We went into the cafe next door and asked the girl at the desk if she knew anything about the accommodation. She said we were the third lot of guests in a week that had turned up confused and expecting to stay closer to the main city square. We went upstairs with the lady who wanted to show us around the accommodation first. I was appalled at what I saw. It was nothing like what is advertised. They had a sofa bed in the lounge and in the next room were five beds lined up next to each other like communal sleeping. The blankets were tattered and worn, the place was dirty and musty, the floor hadnt been vacuumed in goodness knows how long. I told her that this was not what Id booked and not in the location it said it was and all she said was well we dont sleep nine so .... and then told me to leave the key on the table when I leave. I tried to ask her who I could call to get help but she insisted she didnt speak English and left. We spent the next two and half hours on the street in the heat with our children trying to find wifi (the SIM cards we brought at the train station on arrival wouldnt work.) I had to switch back to my NZ SIM card and ask to boost my data just to find alternative accommodation. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!! Please see my photos below - it is false advertising and not at all what they advertise and the manager is aggressive and makes threats if you ask for a refund.

Old, Tatty with...Bed Bugs - the Owner had to move us.We flew in around 9pm...taxi driver had been arranged, but he could not find the apartment. Eventually, through google maps & phone calls - which were answered - we got a lady to meet us & show us in, past the Tai 'massage' parlour & into the apartment. It was old & tatty, but looked clean. After the first night, I noticed beetles crawling up the walls behind my bed...didn't know what they were...I woke up in the second night to find them in the bed with me! Yup...bed bugs, a real infestation. We texted the owner & told him...making sure he knew we had pics. Within 20 minutes he had actioned our move to another apartment. That one was still in the block - but renovated & nicely decorated. There was a state-of-art washing machine & any bugs hoping to hitch up were killed in 60 degree washes. The wardrobes were filled with old musty bedding - & the sheets, although laundered still had the tell tale stains of bed bug habitation...I had wised up by then, & kept off the soft furnishings (google these bugs, & learn - they aren't just for filthy places). We were only in Budapest for the week - but I found that I was marking time until we got home, after that experience... We got the airport bus back to the airport, after cancelling the arranged taxi, because we knew the place was so tricky to find, & we didn't want to risk our flights home. All in all, a holiday governed by unfortunate accommodation, and my difficulty getting over it.

BED BUGS! DONT STAYElectronic key pad does not work and locked us outside. Elevator does not work my 83 year old father had to do 6 flights of stairs and my brother who is handicapped. Worst place infested as we discovered on day 2 with bed bugs. Owner does not answer phone or return call so we had no options to get resolution or refund. Almost 300 EU not worth it!
