Unexplainable
DISGUSTING!!!!!!!DISGUSTING! This is the worst hotel we have every stayed in - we are very well travelled and this is unexplainable. Rooms were supposed to have Robes, hairdryers, irons, slippers, bar fridges, airconditioning - some rooms had some facilities but you never got all of what you were promised within their advertising. We had to be moved from our Room 3 times through the duration of our short stay. NO english speaking girls at front desk or very very limited - one gentleman could speak fairly good english. Very disappointing and will definitely not be staying here again.

comfortable...it was our first time in china and for us, we choose the right hotel suitable for our needs.. staff were friendly even thought they don't know much English still they find ways to accommodate us of our needs. transportation is never a problem from taxi, buses all kinds of transpo and near to luohu railway station.although what they posted on the internet about the hotel amenities is not what u really get once u get there, we had to transfer from the room we booked on internet to another room just to get the internet connection and hair drier. other than it was good experience...

Cheap Rates, but, filthy carpet...stay in the Thai Room w/tileThe place looked creepy. The nasty hallways and Kimchee smells were horrible. We looked at all the "honeymoon" suites. They had several boutique styles. The rooms did not smell inside, and they attempted to renovate the fixtures. The carpet was disgusting, we were tired of running around, and chose to stay at the Thai suite. It was not so bad..it had tile floors, so it was not so disgusting. If you never looked at the hallways, and just entered that room, you might think it was a good deal...not bad. But, I doubt I would stay there again, even though the price was really inexpensive. If you do stay there, due to finances, get the Thai suite..no carpet!

Don't stay here if you really don't have toMy sister and I were in Shenzhen due to some personal matters and as a result, the circumstances gave us no choice but to stay in this hotel. We were originally given a room that was carpeted but it smelled so bad in there we had to switch to the Thai style room because that was the only room that was un-carpeted. The Thai room ended up being a lot better and did not smell at all. The only problem was that it was really cold in the room because there's no central heating in the whole hotel. Despite the room being odourless, the corridor outside the room reeked of cigarettes and a very disgusting musky smell. The woman at the front desk with the last name Huang is very, very rude as well. On one occasion when we told her our room key wasn't working, she gave us terrible attitude and told us off for not swiping the key correctly. It turned out that the battery in our lock had died which was why it wasn't reading our card. We ended up standing outside our room for 15 minutes before they were able to contact somebody to get our door opened. Like some other people have mentioned in their reviews, there is no internet service at this hotel. Bottom line is...stay somewhere else if you have a choice.

Averaging but with good valueI have stayed in Feng Shun hotel twice on separate occasions. Both times I took the Deluxe room with Sauna so that is the only room I can actually review. I agree with some people here that the English at the front desk is fairly limited, but I'd like to also point out that we are in China after all. The rooms are spacious and the sauna in the room is quite ok. As a Finn, I appreciate a good sauna quite high and that makes this hotel in my eyes gain more value even though the carpets are a bit weary and the rooms are in need of renovation within the next few years. Overall the hotel is really good value, but with that money, you can't really expect too much. Especially if you have your own sauna in your room. Average service, average cleanliness and the location isn't anything special. If you enjoy a sauna on your travels, I'd recommend Fengshun but otherwise I would maybe check out some other hotels in the nearby vincinity.
