  Just Brilliant!

  Eight of us stayed here late January. We are all in our late forties to early sixties and we were there for a week skiing. We had four twin rooms that were nothing short of excellent, spacious, spotless and with separate living rooms! The food in the restaurant was first class, some days with table service and others with a buffet. The buffets gave a wide choice and without exception the food every evening was great. The waiting staff were great and had a smile whilst serving which was nice. The hotel is very central in Söll which was great in the evenings as we could walk just a few yards to different local bars which were lively and had bands on every evening. The only minor gripe that I had was that one of our party locked himself in the room (hes in his 60s), he called me on my mobile and asked if I could go to reception for a spare key, I found some staff in the restaurant and they refused to help until hed been locked in for a further 15 minutes as they said it was his fault and he needed to find the key as it must be in his room. They were right, but to go and tell him (through the door) was just silly, its not like we are teenagers, they should have let me have a spare key to release him which we would have returned as soon as the first key was found. That said, this hotel is the best ski hotel Ive stayed in since 1987 when I started skiing and our whole party were in agreement that it was brilliant. We will be back to Söll in the future and hopefully the same hotel!

  Skiing 2020

  Why have we never noticed this wonderful hotel before. Been to Soll so many times and never stayed here, will always book here from now on. Super hotel, friendly family hotel, food excellent, lovely and warm. Cant complain about anything thank you to all the staff for a wonderful holiday and stay xx

  Ski

  Another great ski holiday with friends in Soll. Stayed at hotel Feldwebel in a suite it was great as the first part of holiday was a wipeout due to bad weather. The staff were very friendly and the owner loved to chat about the history of the building being the first public house in village since the year 1501. Food was delicious excellent chef. Spotlessly clean and very helpful family ran hotel.

  Soll ski holiday with family and friends

  Been coming to Soll for a number years and stayed in a variety of accommodation from Pensions to Hotels. We had good accommodation and food provided at the Hotel Feldwebel but not the best in the town. We were looked after well, particularly by the breakfast & dining staff who excelled. The bar was part of the A-La-Carte restaurant open to the general public, small and although staying in the hotel we were treated like an outsider. They wouldnt provide tap water to one of our party, although the rest had ordered a drink. The reception desk was often left unattended and when it was, you felt welcome at times. Very well located in the centre of town, had a spa area and boot room.

  Bad restaurantservice

  The worst service I ever experienced. Diner is in two shifts at 18 and 20 h. Although we arrived 15 minutes earlier, starters were served not before 19 h. The waitress forgot different items repeately and one of the main courses of our six persons party was served 10 minutes later than the rest. No time remained for deserts and we were asked to leave the table because of the next shift. The request to call a taxi was refused. The food was good but could not make up for the terrible unprofessional service.
