  Absolute wonderful place to stay!

  The possums hideaway cabins are an ideal place to stay for a couple. The facilities in the room and on the grounds are very well thought out and maintained. The Grand Canyon walk is just down the road and was the most beautiful trek Ive ever done! Will definitely be coming back to stay here!

  Perfect family getaway !!

  We were celebrating our 18th anniversary and wanted to have a quick getaway to have some special memories in this otherwise insane year. Sooo glad we chose this place for our stay. Perfect in all ways especially with pre teen kids . Indoor heated pool was a blessing while it was pouring outside. The room n other facilities were great. The cherry on the top of this amazing stay was the manager Jess. She gave us wonderful recommendations for local places to eat n explore and was so warm n welcoming . Might go back just for another chat with her!!!

  Comfortably amazing

  I recently stayed in a possum hideaway couples villa, was absolutely blown away how amazing this slice of paradise is hidden in the mountains of blackheath. Jess and Robyn were both absolutely amazing, friendly, welcoming. I couldnt recommend this place enough for a 1 night or several night stay its just so quiet and peaceful perfect for that little getaway. Fireplaces, spa baths, candles set out really made it feel special for myself and partner. A little late night visit from the possums priceless !! Even supplied apples for us to leave something delicious out for the locals to have a afternoon tea such a great touch . I will definitely return aswell as recommending everyone I know

  Perfect couple getaway

  Went away for valentines weekend The possums hideaway cabins are an ideal place to stay for a couple. The facilities in the room and on the grounds are very well thought out and maintained. Absolutely beautiful place to stay room has everything you need Jess was amazing very helpful She gave us wonderful recommendations for local places to eat and explore and was so warm n welcoming . would definitely come and stay again Fireplaces, spa baths, candles set out really made it feel special for myself and partner.

  Perfect place to get engaged!

  My then girlfriend and I stayed at Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway ("FGPH") for 3 nights and it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences we have had. I say my 'then girlfriend' because I proposed to her here! Firstly, Jess the Property Manager worked with myself and my fiance's best friend weeks prior to our stay to assist in preparing and setting up our room in the most beautiful way. Upon our arrival, Jess helped to distract my fiance so I could go ahead and drop off our bags to the room and set up the camera so I could capture the moment. Further, her recommendations for local cafes, places to eat and explore were extremely helpful and all the places we checked out had exceptional service. The facilities and surroundings of our cabin is everything you need if you love nature and the great outdoors. We were fortunate enough to be able to see possums in the evening enjoying the sliced apples we left out for them. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the Spa at the end of day after a day of hiking or exploring the town. All in all this has been probably the best getaway we have had and we would recommend this to anyone thinking of a weekend or week away in the Blue Mountains. Thanks to Jess and all the staff at Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway for a most memorable experience and stay!
