Relaxing retreat, delicious food, kind peopleWe stayed for 2 nights and hope to come back sometime for longer. It was all so beautiful and serene! The property is incredibly gorgeous, and we wouldve loved to spend more time outside on the lawn. Our 1-bedroom apartment was clean and updated. We even had a small private yard and covered patio, which we didnt expect. It was a pleasant surprise. The apartment was a bit rustic (bugs inside and a leaky ceiling) but we would stay again. The bikes we paid to rent were not in good working order, and the provided WiFi password never worked. Other than that, we were very pleased. The food was delicious! Best weve had on our whole trip. Mario from the restaurant was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed talking with him and learning about the fattoria from him. I would suggest this place as a good home base in Tuscany for a few days. A family of 4 couldve lived comfortably in our 1-bed apartment. Maybe rent a car so that you can tour during the day. I suggest buying your own groceries and self catering a couple times if you want to save money. The restaurant is delicious but not affordable for many days in a row. The wine was our favorite weve ever had! We will miss this place and hope to come back someday. It was a very special retreat from the tourist crowds.

Beautiful place near SienaFrattoria di Corsigniano is not just a place... it is much more then that! It was one of the most authentic experiences in Tuscany we had! This place is beautifully situated between olive groves, vineyards and cyprus trees... with a view of Siena! Great food, nice pool area, comfortable apartment, friendly staff.

Wonderful authentic spotThe beautiful landscape of this lovely hotel makes this place very unique. We stayed for 6 days and felt like being home. The helpful and super friendly staff made our experience unforgettable. The family atmosphere in the hotel and restaurant helps to make this place very special. Thanks to Elena & Mario and all staff members. We will definitely come back again. Our special advice: Join the winery tour to taste their great Chianti wine. May & Thomas

First time in TuscanyWe booked this stay directly on their website as it was cheaper than on booking.com. Good email communication from booking right up to our arrival. Asking for any special requests and advance booking of any activities they offer (wine tasting and cooking courses) We stayed in a Duplex family room which was very nice, had lots of character and was very comfortable. In the living area there was also a kitchenette with a microwave, a cooking hob and large fridge. All fully equipped. The kitchen and fridge is stocked with drinks and wine - all of which is chargeable - even the water! The room bedroom windows had mosquito nets. The downside was there was no air conditioning, leaving any other window or door open was torture from the hungry mosquitos take citronella candles with you and any other protection and Bite relief as nothing is provided to save yourself! August was extremely hot!! There were ceiling fans in both bedrooms but these were noisy and didnt provide much fanning for any relief from the heat! Reception staff was very good and spoke good English. We met the owners of the Vineyard who were very nice people. The restaurant is down next to the Pool and has lots of character, you can either sit inside or outside under the pergolas. This is were you have breakfast too. Breakfast is very simple with a typical selection of continental food. We had one evening meal in the restaurant. The menu had a varied but small selection to choose from with a few options available as chef specials. We had wild boar of the specials which was very tasty!! Just be careful as you will be charged for absolutely everything, including a bread basket which we ate from but didnt request. During our stay we did some wine tasting and had a tour of the distillery. This was given by the owner and was very informative. The wines are all red Chiantis. The Pool was cool and refreshing as the temperature was 35 degrees during our stay. It would have benefitted from a clean as the trees are close and leaves dropped into the water. Then the final day came and we were asked as a favour to change rooms for a wedding double booking they had made we obliged to be helpful without any compensation and no help to move a family of 4 up a big hill and a lot of steps other than a free bottle of wine! Perhaps a better diary is needed All in all a nice place very nice staff and owners, the place itself in desperate need of air con or a lot more fans and mosquito repellent!
