  Can't fault the place

  Just spent 1 night here recently and really can't complain. It was very reasonably priced, the staff were lovely and the food was great (we had dinner and brekkie). The place is well signposted around covid regulations and there are hand sanitising stations everywhere. I would definitely recommend!

  Great hotel

  Had a fantastic family holiday. The staff were very accommodating. There was sterilising stations throughout the hotel with clear signage. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend.

  Poor customer customer

  On arrival we said we had a meal booked for 8 pm in the restaurant the reservation was checked and all was good. Brought bags to the room and went out for a walk. On returning we asked about having a drink we were told we could have a drink with our meal we asked about getting a drink to the room we were told no only with our meal. We came down to the restaurant for our meal and we were both brought back through reception and into this big function room where no one else were eating Or any sign of food just a group drinking we said we had booked the restaurant and thats where we wanted to eat. The following morning we came down for breakfast and we were put at the smallest round table the plates were balanced on the edge when the toast arrived he had to balance it on top of the salt and pepper we felt totally alienated Even though there was very few in the restaurant we were put sitting right at the exit where everyone had to walk right pass us. I will not recommend this hotel.

  What can I say about this hotel ? On the plus side the food is excellent and the waitress Anna should train all other staff on what customer service is , what a breathe of fresh air , very helpful , very pleasant and efficient. This is the real problem the majority of staff are rude , not welcoming and dismissive . The wait for breakfast and evening meal was horrendous. Fifty minutes seated before as much as a drink at our evening meal . Rooms are adequate , no air con but fans available on request . With nicer staff ( not all were as above but definitely a bad atmosphere) really quite odd.

  Another great experience

  I visit here every time I'm. Iver from England. As always the food and service was second to none! We both had roast beef followed by rhubarb and strawberry crumble... Fantastic! Well done and thank you farmers kitchen team!
