  Home sweet home

  Excellent service, delicious food and much much more. The owners made me feel at home and were generous beyond expectation. I highly recommend if you want quality, simplicity outside of the tourist trap.

  Wish I stayed longer!

  It's ten minute bus ride from the sun moon lake but u get to save a lot of money with greater serenity. A very clean and lovely place with big friendly dogs in this BnB. Pop by on a Tuesday when the weekly night market is nearby.

  By far the best accommodation in Taiwan!

  We've been traveling to various places in Taiwan for the last seven years, and we've been to many accommodation places from B&Bs to luxury hotels but we can sincerely say that this is by far the best we've stayed. The owner, Yen, makes you feel like at home from the very first minute and she speaks English very well. The garden environment is better than many well rated hotels, and taken care with such love that you can instantly feel it. The room we were given at the beginning was superb, but because I'm allergic to strong perfumes and smells, and the wood floor has just been maintained, it made me sneeze. I LINED the owner and she instantly came and changed us rooms to another without wooden floor ( and this happened at 23:00 at the night). The view is like taken from a fairy tale, breakfast is delicious with scrubbed eggs, toasted sandwich, salad and coffee, there are various dogs in the garden very friendly that you can choose to play with and, frankly, we could stay there for ever!

  A must if you dont mind $

  When we think of Sunmoon lake, we look for proximity to jetty. After pouring through cheapest to best accommodation something didnt click. Thats when i saw this Guest house Fanzhalan. We stayed for 1 night. The response from the guest house is prompt and they assist with direction as well. We came by Bus and dropped at Fanzhalan another guest house facing sunmoon lake. So we went for a stroll and later the staff picked us up in his car to the guesthouse which is like 10 mins. Take note to buy some dinner. At Fanzhalan there is nothing in vicinity and most of then were close around 2300hrs. About the guest house. Its beautifully decorated villa with 4 friendly dogs,great staffs and amazing room. I would rate the ambience, quality, attention to detail and customer service 5 stars and this place is no less than a 5 star hotel. Morning breakfast is healthy filling and worth it. As mentioned if you dont mind dollars consider its worth spent. Will return again for sure.

  We had a fantastic two nights here. The room was lovely and spacious. There is a 5 to 10 minutes walk into town has local cafes and local food stalls. Yen her family were able to help us with all our arrangements - and she kindly drove us to Sun-Moon lake to help us out! Thank you Yen! The bus goes straight through to Sun Moon lake, and also the aboriginal culture park, and links to Taichung HSR. Our children loved playing with Sonny the dog!
