  Hotel encantador

  Hotel centrico, trato excepcional, muy recomendable. Hablan ingles, hotel familiar y el dueño siempre pendiente y atento. Desayuno Taiwanes completo, lavadora y secadora en el ultimo piso, habitaciones austeras pero muy bien.

  Sentirse como en tu propia casa

  Soy profesor de Universidad y realice una estancia de Investigación en NCKU en Tainan. Los tres meses estuve hospedado en este hotel. Es un hotel ideal para estancias largas, ya que calidad precio es de lo mejor que he encontrado. Esta situado en el centro de la ciudad y se puede ir andando a los sitios mas interesante de la misma. El hotel esta rodeado de restaurantes donde podrás comer y cenar sin ningún problema. También tienes muchos restaurantes de comida a domicilio que te envían. Algunos de estos sitios solo hablan Chino- Taiwanes, pero la gente del hotel te ayudará sin ningún problema. Tienes dos Seven-Eleven al lado del hotel, con lo que facilita mucho el tema de la comida a cualquier hora. Las habitaciones son amplias y muy limpias. Las personas que atienden el hotel son amables y serviciales, hablan ingles perfectamente, y te ayudaran a resolver cualquier problema que tengas con el idioma. Los desayunos son de comida Taiwanesa y también tienes comida occidental, para mi deliciosa. El hotel dispone de servicio de lavandería. También dispone de bicicletas gratis para los clientes del hotel. Si vas a alquilar coche o scooter tiene parking gratuito. Durante la estancia en el hotel conocí a un profesor de universidad japones que estaba haciendo otra estancia de investigacion como yo. Solo tengo cosas buenas que decir del hotel y de la gente de lo lleva.

  You get what you pay for

  I try to be fair in the review. It's a 3 star hotel and you get what you pay for. Someone else wrote a review saying it is a nice 70s style hotel. I'd venture to say that the hotel is all 70s original and has not been updated in more than 40 years. The beds are stone hard with a 2 inch foam covering to sleep on. The bathroom smells like sewage and the tiles are old and cracked. There are holes in the wall. So yes, it was cheap. I won't write a littany of other issues I saw, but just beware that you get what you pay for. Next time I'd chose an AirBnB.

  Staff are the best.

  Stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel is dated but extremely clean and well worth the cost. It takes a short taxi ride from the station get to the hotel and everything is within walking distance from there. Many food choices and the local traditional market is not far. The staff are fantastic, even paid for our return trip to the station. Our departure was extended to outside the hotel by the front desk waving and wishing us well. We really love the Taiwanese for their genuine hospitality.

  Old Hotel.... but.. it a fair stay...

  Let don't jump to conclusion yet... I am going to tell you that this hotel is definite old and show sign of aging at every aspect, from the lobby to the lift, room, bed, toilet, actual physically room key, A/C and even the TV is still Hulk Hogan style Tube TV and only 21" /// lol \\\ My wife and children is disappointed with my choice of hotel selection as soon they get in the room because imagine a 9 years old that had never come across a CRT TV .. I cant stop laughing at her asking what is this box ? One thing I show respect to the owner, the owner had kept everything in working order, and clean. Good clean standard is observed at most area, the room, the bathroom, the walk way, the elevator.... at least that is comforting for my family. So.. why I choose this hotel ? Well.. 1st, is relatively low price compare to others... 2nd.. the location is right at the city center... a handful of site can be visited by just walking.. few temples,... the Chihkan Tower, the Confucious Temple... a market street... The location is perfect !... if you wish to go somewhere future.. a taxi ride to most point it cost you below NT200 like AN PING for example... it just so convenient... 3rd this hotel provide free breakfast... nothing fancy just basic continental breakfast which let us last till lunch without any issue... The best part of this hotel is the employee... all of them is superbly helpful.. and this hotel just located short ride from Tainan Ordinary Train Station.. This is our first time to Tainan, so we opt the more comfortable High Speed Train Rail.. which I think is a mistake as we have to wait for about an hour at the HSR Station connecting train service to the City Center Train Station in order to get her... too much hassle for me as I am travelling with my family... So when I check out and going to the HSR station, i just take a taxi .. actually the taxi just cost me about NT480.. so why I even bother to take a cab to City Train and wait connecting Train to the HSR... I think this hotel deserve a recommendation based on it price, location and their enthusiastic employee.
