  Easter skiing

  We spent four nights at the Kaiserhof over Easter with our two children (age 7 and 9). The hotel is very close to the skiing area and it very easy to cross over the road and ski to the bottom of the lift. The skiing area is good for families - lots of fairly easy pistes and hardly any queues while we were there. Our room was large with a separate room for the children and a great view of the mountains. The food quality was good. One of our children has a milk allergy and my wife doesn't eat gluten. We warned the hotel in advance and they were able to deal with both requirements well at most meal times. At lunch time it was often quite busy in the lunch restaurant and one day we couldn't get a normal height table - instead we had to sit at a bar table which was a bit awkward to eat at. There is lots of space so considering the hotel is aimed at families I'm surprised there weren't some more tables. Some of the public areas of the hotel are showing their age - hopefully some renovations are planned soon. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the hotel was good. The location is excellent for family skiing.

  Rooms need upgrading

  Just got back from a week in Berwang staying at the Kaiserhof. Firstly, the people that work at the hotel are great, really nice, friendly and helpful. The food, was very good for an all inclusive and there was free access to soda, water and coffee. Alcohol was a little expensive but not over the top. Location of the hotel is great and you can ski straight from the hotel to the lifts and ski school. The bad is the rooms. We paid around 3k for the week with the penthouse room for 2 adults and 2 kids, including the full board. The room was basically falling apart, the curtains would need to be crafted together so they would close, day 3 my daughters fell down completely. Water sprayed everywhere from the shower heads and apparently flooded one of the common areas since we were disturbed twice by repair people whilst trying to get ready for dinner. Paint was falling off, smoke detector was hanging off wires and on the final night one half of the bed collapsed. I think a great place to stay if you have kids and if you want to have the day care etc but if not then there is way better value in the area.

  Ski Holiday Kaiserhof feb 2019

  Our family comes here for more than twenty years. We have never been disappointed. In the early years , our children were young and they had a good time in this child friendly hotel. The last years we come without the children and we have a good time too. The sauna complex is forbidden for small children so you can really relax after an whole day of skiing. The ski slopes are on walking distance .

  Family visit

  Nice hotel. Not sure it qualifies as 4 stars from a service point of view. Rooms are very nice. Sauna and swimming area are nice and Family friendly. Food was good, but service in restaurant was underwhelming. I expect decent service even when traveling with a kid:-)

  Top Hotel

  Great Hotel at great location. Always friendly staff. Room were spacious and clean. Food was delicious. Good choice of non-alcoholic beverages and coffee which were included in all inclusive package. Child care was great.
