  You can't believe this, a "Marriott" like hotel for a third of the price

  Driving north and east in Germany to see Peenemunde and the V-2 Rocket works, we stumbled on this excellent property, like an oasis that saved our "bacon." We were on our own to find something and boy did we. A nice room was 60 euros and as we checked into the room I had noticed the other side of the hall opened west and as it was nearly sunset I went back and asked if I could change to a room with a patio, facing west (all this with neither I or the folks at reception understanding our languages). We finally got it figured out and we moved to the third floor with a lovely balcony, for 10 euros more. Oh, if that wasn't good enough, the full breakfast in the morning for the two of us was magnificent.

  Too Provincial

  Booked this hotel based on TA reviews;although it was not terrible, it was not over- all positive either. The rooms were adequate with comfortable beds. The location in Trassenheide was quiet but too isolated. The area is dead by 9 pm, even the parking lots to beach are closed, area restaurant kitchens also closed and we had to drive to Zinnowitz or Heringsdorf for dinner if we did not want to stay at the hotel restaurant ;The restaurant food was average with appetizing presentation but lacked flavor, meat orders a safe bet but fish not fresh and pasta overcooked;breakfast buffet was nothing special although bread was freshly baked; the service was inconsistent,ranging from polite restaurant personnel to unsmiling front desk ladies to a particularly rude staff at the spa named Shaqin. I am turned-off by the lack of effort in catering to international guests. For example, for a four star hotel, you would at least expect basic information written in English or other language.This hotel maybe reasonable for German-speaking families with small children but not ideal for a non-German speaking international traveler like me and my family, it was a mistake to come here. I sensed that my presence was tolerated but not welcome. A better choice would have been to stay in Zinnowitz or Heringsdorf area.

  Superb .... just wished we could have stayed longer

  Great room, actually it was a suite with separate kitchen/dining room and separate lounge. Own use balcony. Big bathroom, great shower with good water pressure. Separate toilet with own hand-basin. Liquid soap supplied. Comfortable bed. Good internet reception. Excellent value for money. Rating: 9/10

  Very nice

  It was very nice stay. Hotel is modern and very clean. There was everything what needed for Family. Small but charming swimming pool with sauna. Rooms clean and well equipped with kitchen site! Breakfest good, nothing to complain. Outside playgraund full of pirates. I can highly recommende

  nice family hotel with spa close to the beach

  i come here several times a year, even when it rains. the nature is wonderful, the beach a 20 min walk away, which I love to take with my dog. i think they also offer a shuttle to the beach. the staff is always nice and attentive. i can also recommend the restaurant, which has very good fish dishes. please note that the kitchen usually closes at 9pm in low season. the breakfast is included and very good. my highlight is also the spa area, with several saunas to choose from and also daily sauna infusions. long opening hours is perfect (7am-10pm). they have a lot to offer for families with kids.
