This is how every vacation should be!This is the 2nd time that I have booked the hotel for my family and myself. Again, the service, cleanliness and food were beyond our expectations. Always service with a smile and they really walk the extra mile. The owner of the hotel even took the time to take us skiing for a day and acted as our personal tour guide. it was a gain an amazing experience.

Excellent stay for whole family in super hotel! We have visited the Fameli hotel for the second time with friends & children (all ages) and we love it! Rooms are nicely decorated, spacious for adults and kids (separate space with bunk bed for kids or sofa bed for the kids), bathroom facilities good, love the jacuzzi and small balcony. Restaurant food good quality and nice staff (Giovanni very kind), breakfast buffet (the friendly staff refills where needed) and dinner various and delicious options to choose, even vegetarian or gluten free possible! and also kids menu. Kids can also eat in kids club with friendly staff. Kids club has nice program and you can also leave your little one (1-2 years old we had) safely and having a lot of fun! For the little ones under 4 play ground close to the hotel and fun kids park 5 min by ski bus or car. There they can sledge down (all provided there) a great nice kids piste and also an ice skating track & panorama restaurant. For older kids downstairs in the hotel an area with ping pong table & foot ball table is a succes and close to the bar the tv room with board games for every one to play. Bar of hotel very friendly bartenders Fabrizio & Samuel this year make yummie cocktails! Reception always friendly and willing to help. You can even get the ski pass from them and pay via bank or credit card. Transport to the piste (Kronplatz) for free and very easy in morning with either hotel bus (max 8 persons) and if full take/or skibus 21 stop next to hotel or walk to stop just around the corner that goes frequently during the day. Time tables even provided in hotel. Skischool Cima comes to hotel to make bookings (note: pay cash) and your kids can even be picked up from and to the hotel. Teachers are nice and friendly, speak Italian/German/English and helps you to enjoy skiing for every level. Spa from hotel very nice with spa facilities such as facial, massage & pedicures. Swimming pool and kids swimming pool, sauna as well. Very relax after a day skiing. Ski rooms available and garage to park your car inside as well. All in all perfect hotel for a pleasant and nice stay. Would highly recommend it to families!

Lot of kids- tourist pricingThere are a lot of good things about this place- room was quiet and clean, spa area and pool were very nice, they have covered parking and a ski room. We got the half board and wouldn't do it again. For one thing- there is no free water- they serve food and if you want water, you need to buy it from bottles that they fill up on-site. This is an annoying tourist trap trick. The breakfast was OK, not great but adequate. Like most places in Europe there was an impressive selection of breads and pastries. Dinner was hit and miss, mostly we would have preferred to eat somewhere else, partly for quality of food and partly for all the little kids uncontrolled touching things and coughing in the buffet area. On our last day we got a flier with breakfast on events, and one event that looked interesting happened 2 days earlier and we wish we would have known about it. We were there for ski trip- you need to take a bus or shuttle to get to hill, but that worked well.

A hotel for families with fine dine restaurantWe stayed here almost 2 weeks and choosed a deluxe suite, a spacious room, with a jacuzzi in the middle of the room, a spacious balcony with a nice view over the mountains. The service at the hotel and the restaurant was very friendly all the time. There is a nice sauna department only for adults, with a bio sauna, a finnish sauna and a turkish sauna. There a also two swimming pools. The pools are some what lively and at times a bit restless as there are a lot of families with small children. The 3/4 board, that we had booked, consisted of a very tasty and plentiful buffet breakfast, an afternoon snack between 15 - 17 and a wonderful dinner, with a salad and antipasto buffet as a starter, a soup or a drink, a warm starter, a main course and a desert. You choose your dinner on a list at breakfast and you can choose between 3 different main courses and either a list desert or desert from buffet ( different cheeses, fruits and ice crean). If you ordered wine, you could either order wine per glass or a 75 cl bottle. There was no wine of the house option in a caraffe, but you could save part of the bottle for the next day. It is a rather pricey hotel, but considering the quality of the room and the breakfast and the dinner, it was well worth the price.
