    Bad FO Services and STALE MILO BREAKFAST

    That's was not the first time we're stayed in Fame hotel, the location was currently away from highway but we hope Fame's hotl Batam same services with the other Fame's in Indonesia. Honestly, at 1st July we stayed and we've got the stale milo whilst breakfast and the F&B not ask for pardon and no smiling, she tried and the milo already moldy and sour. We reported to avoid the other customers will be complain although it's a must to refill and check the condition of food and drinks especially for breakfast. The second time on 1st August we stayed again, it was terrible cause many times we stayed before, we asked and communicated if there was a request for late checkout and many times no answer (maybe online) and finally connected and with the bad voices the Reception names Nita said already charges cause now the time passed. How can she charges without confirmation? We really knows if the rules was checkout at max. 1PM but as before and as the other hotels, we can do special requested but the way she communicated to customers its really bad. In the end, whilst checkout she asked where I work? And she said caused we booked by traveloka its not priority except company. How if we get an allowance by cash? and it's not polite if she told like that, cause all the customers was same. Lucky they have one of guy reception more polite. We really hope the management preach her and always communicate all the changes and condition to customers before extra charges.

    Fame Hotel

    Best chic hotel in Batu Aji! Luv it It was my third stay, this time had to bring all family members. Totally love love their jnr suite. Breakfast menus this time were great. Not too much of Western, but not over introduced of their local dishes either

    Noisy

    Horrible stay. The sky bar located at rooftop was so noisy we couldn't get a sleep at all. Our room was located at 3rd floor right beneath it. No card payment i had to pay cash for the spa. And i paid for 2hr package, the whole thing was over in 1hr 20min. And yeah no hair dryer. But im still ok with it. But the noise. Horrible. And DJ was bad anyway.

    So...so..

    Reaching at lobby hotel...very stunning,but enter the once enter the room...no hair dryer,faulty safe box...stain on pillow.the light too dark for me.... Very disappointed with the breakfast,about the taste,service,look like the staff can't manage.not hope the management of hotel can improve the service of the hotel.....

    OS stands for Only So-So Hotel ( and that is being generous!)

    Read the reviews was a bit sceptical but went ahead to give it a go. Arrived at hotel, was told at the counter that use of the new swimming facility is by coupon and only for 2 pax, extra guest have to pay.. huh? Downer #1. Enter the room was sorely disappointed. We booked the Executive Suite but no way does the room justify its name. Downer #2. The full length window curtains when pulled to the side, instead of a sunny view of Batu Aji estate, we got an absolutely amazing view of the hotel staircase! Downer #3. The toilet bidet hose came loose on the first activation which caused me to get my jeans and shirt wet! Downer 4. The so called mini bar is bare alias empty. The internal temperature of the mini bar is the same as the room temperature. Nothing can be kept cold in the mini bar! When told about this to FO, they said they cant do anything about it... but they did say that we can keep our stuff in the hotel kitchen freezer.. What?!! Downer #5. At this point I was about to cancel and go to another hotel nearby but the wife say the kids were to exhausted to move out. So hesitantly we stayed. Next day, breakfast buffet was sorely disappointing. At Rp50000/pax it was definitely not value for money. Downer #6. You would be better off walking out of the hotel and try the delicious street food just across the road. At 9am tried booking a traditional message for evening session at the FO. Was told they would whatsapp us to confirm. By 8pm no notification. Had to personally go to the so-called spa, which is just a counter with a room. We booked a 1 hour session. When we enter the room, there were 2 single beds. Not massage table but normal hotel beds! The massage was less than so-so and it ended just after 40 minutes! When told about this, the masseuse said there are others waiting outside. So this justify the shortchange? Downer #7. To summarise, it will be last time booking this hotel, next time visiting will go the other nearby SP Hotel instead.
