  Wow

  My first impression was wow, we stayed in the french bourgeois apartment and loved it. The apartment is huge, the kitchen well kitted out with a bonus of a wine chiller. Everything was provided from dishwasher tablets, tea towels, wash liquid. Basically everything I had brought from home :-) We didnt use the log burner as the heating system was very good and the hot water can be lethal if you are not careful. The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds very comfortable, if I could take anything away it would be the bathrooms, they were amazing. Basically I loved it and could have happily stayed longer. For me the only downside to the lovely Falstone area was lack of mobile coverage, I missed out on knowing my daughter was having her baby early. Would I return to Falstone Barns? Yes in a heartbeat. I will recommend it to all my friends

  Overnight Stay

  I booked an overnight stay in the Romantic Medieval barn for my partner and I as a birthday present, along with a trip to the Keilder Observatory. We were not at all disappointed! The accommodation is within perfect distance for an Observatory visit and the barn itself had everything we needed, was cosy, attractive, very clean and well priced (although did think the additional £25 for late checkout was slightly steep.) Contactless check in/out worked well and ideal for meeting COVID guidelines, however it was nice of the owner to make the effort to pop by (at a safe distance) in the morning to check we were happy with everything. All in all a 10 out of 10 and wed definitely stay here again.

  Above Expectations

  Stayed at the two bedroom ground floor French Bourgeois apartment , very large good facilities lovely views overlooking the court yard,Stayed for 6 nights didn't need to contact the owners everything was within the apartment. Falstone area pretty village easy walking to access to Kielder Water .Lovely park for the children Post office within the village ,nearest store 6 miles nearest Super market Hexham be prepared.Would like to visit Falstone barns again.

  Excellent

  We just managed to squeeze in a quick visit before lock down and are so glad we did. We stayed in Opulence which is very well furnished, of great character and very clean and comfortable. We would recommend purchasing the fire kindle package as the added glow of the real fire was lovely. Paula and Dave are great hosts and happy to help with any requests (sorting out a local taxi in our case). We will definitely return as soon as we can and thoroughly recommend Falstone Barns as a great place to stay and get away from it all.

  Amazing Customer Service!

  Paula is absolutely wonderful and extremely accommodating. While Covid has delayed our plans, Paula has been thoroughly understanding. Highly recommend based on the outstanding customer service. We will see you in the future for sure. Thanks again.
