  A little gem

  Don't let the slightly dated look of this motel put you off. We stayed 3 nights in the motel and were sad to leave. We were in an upstairs room, basic motel style with a small kitchenette, but the view from the balcony looking over to the Haruru falls and the Waitangi river was to die for. The room was spotlessly clean, modern bed covering and a comfortable bed and a shower with good water pressure. There is a pool and also laundry facilities where the washing powder was provided free. It is about 3km out of Paihia. We had a car, but I believe there is also a bus route on the roadway outside.

  Favourite camp ground so far!

  This has by far been our favourite camper site yet! They are super accommodating, everything is clean and maintained and the views from the sites are superb. Theres an abundance of bird and fish life and you can even go fishing out the front of your camping spot, the water comes right up at night and your in with a chance of catching snapper!   Best Motel for large family stay

  Had an amazing weekend with a large group of friends! It was a family friendly trip and we booked out the whole place! Peter and his wife were amazing! So kind and helpful, we loved the space, lots of room for the kids to swim and play. Rooms were so clean, beds are really comfy, DVDs available for the kids to watch and beautiful views from our balcony! The one thing we needed for our group trip was a kitchen and they had one in every room, they also had a easy to use BBQ area. We would definitely come back again! Thanks Peter!

  OUTSTANDING

  Shout out to Peter and the team @The Falls Motel for hosting us for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and spacious, the location is perfect and the price was right. Most importantly the hosts were friendly and alway happy to help.

  Weekend get away

  Perfect stay at the falls with so many amenities. Stunning views of Haruru falls, the Waitangi walking track, access to the camping ground that has a basketball area, playground and trampoline. Perfect for the kids. Swim in the pool as the sun starts to set over looking Haruru falls. I really enjoyed my studio room with a kitchen and modern bathroom with amazing lighting. I expected it to be hot in the room but it was so breezy just perfect. They do have a fan if needed. Peter and his wife are an awesome team and made our large group stay so memorable. We also had access to their bbq which was perfect for our large group meals. I recommend this place for large groups, families and if you want to explore the area within a short period of time.
