  Location is unbeatable, hotel is one of worse of Falkensteiner

  If you are looking for a hotel directly on a slope with full service this is the one to go. Large hotel with everything you need for a ski week. The rating is negatively influenced by couple of facts: 1. Ski Depot ultra small and crowded - you pay extra 5 EUR/ day for private ski depot in a ski hotel? Of course unless you want to leave your ski equipment in an unsecured area. 2. Pool Temperature - the pool is connected with outside area and has 30 degrees which simply feels too cold. Cristallo at Katschberg does this better - learn from there. 3. Food quality - went down since last year. Dinner is not served anymore, you go to the buffet. And given the small area, this is a mayhem. To not be only negative, there are some highlights: 1. Bar and the staff - we loved it. The quality and attention. Thank you Igor. 2. Wellness area - BIG THANKS goes to Mitja for a daily portion of sauna ritual (Aufguss). This is not to be missed and is a strong selling point for us. We enjoyed that every day. 3. Room and sleep quality - for a long time we didnt have a better sleep in a hotel such size. Noise is proerly isolated, matraces are excellent, air is fresh and rooms not overheated. We love it. Overall, no hotel itself cannot decide about your family vacation. The location here is what decides. Nassfeld is a great resort and we love it. We had a reasonable weather and enjoyed our ski week a lot. Dear Sonnenalpe - fix the issues with Ski depot, work on food quality, improve the self-service food area and fix the water temperature. You can make it to the top!

  Overall - very good, but not excellent choice for skiing holiday

  Relatively big hotel as for Austrian Alps, located right next to the slopes. Very family friendly. Ski room pretty big and well equipped. Individual lockers to be rented for 5 per day. There are two parts of the hotel - the older one is still OK but will soon require upgrade. Rooms are clean and well maintained but a bit old-fashioned. Each room equipped with mini bar. Some of the double rooms are pretty small. Staff is international, very friendly, helpful and multilingual. Self service restaurant. Pretty short lunch/jause time - ends at 2 pm, normally it lasts until 3-4 pm. Food is very good but not excellent. Designated kids buffet in the restaurant. Relatively limited choice of Austrian wines on the wine list. We were not using neither spa nor a swimming pool as the later on is usually full of kids. Finding a parking slot is a challenge. The hotel offers car park spaces for 10 per day, otherwise you are on your own as regards to finding a parking slot. Overall - very good but not excellent hotel.

  Goof if your expectations are to eat in Cantina Style

  For a 4 Stars it must improve heavily, especially on the quality of the food. Cantina type of dinner is not our style as prevents quality time to spend at dinner table (many interruptions to serve yourself to get food). Quality of the food is terrible in the negative way, the chef is not able to bring taste to the food with the exception of the local Austrian food. This clearly shows a strong conclusion: experience, but this is not acceptable for a 4 Stars Hotel. The personnel is well intentionned and helpful, a big plus to overcome bad food.

  One of the best in Nassfeld.

  Nice location, friendly staff, delicious meal, excellent bar with professional service, finally better wifi signal. Nice spa area where you can have a cup of tea :) Relaxing place! Coming back next year for sure!!!

  2nd time we stay for winter holiday, again a wonderful stay with better care for the food at the restaurant.

  Lot of choice for different various food at restaurant. Always enough and re-fill on time. Friendly staff. Clean rooms, lobby and restaurant. Spacy rooms, great swimmingpool and sauna. Close to the ski area/lift.
