  El Hotel de las Pesadillas

  Nada recomendable. Con el hotel casi vacío te dan la ultima habitación. Las estanterías de los armarios llenas de polvo. La cena con un menú diario que no cambian nunca. Jamas volvería a este Hotel

  Great choice in Nizwa - if a little dated

  Stayed with my father and my baby son. The location is good (need a car to get into Nizwa), pools and outside area great and relaxing despite being next to big road. The breakfast and dinner food was fine. Rooms great and had a cot for the baby, although the bathrooms really need updating (tiny showers, tiling cracked etc). Overall, a good choice

  Comfortable, pleasant and well-run, very close to 5 stars

  We stayed for four nights in Falaj Daris and enjoyed it very much. The hotel complex is attractively laid out around two beautiful pools with sitting areas and outdoor seating for meals. Rooms are spacious, batroom adequate although the shower was quite small. Restaurant also spacious and airy, breakfast very good although I would have appreciated some more fresh fruit. Staff is superfriendly, professional and helpful. Perhaps I am too strict when i draw one star for unstable & insufficient Internet ...

  Friendly and comfortable

  We spent only one night at the Falaj Daris Hotel. We were offered the opportunity to evaluate one of the newly renovated rooms. It was excellent. Clean, comfortable, convenient to both the pool area and the restaurant. The bathroom was small but very functional. Dinner by poolside was a delight. The pool, however, was not heated. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

  great hotel - just shame about the food

  I think this hotel get a lot of things right. The layout of the rooms is very good. Very quiet everywhere and they keep it clean and comfortable. The rooms have a luxurious feel about them and the pools are fantastic. Great place to rest after a long day visiting the many wonderful sites around. I didn't mind the location away from the centre. It is a short ride to the fort and souk. What lets them down is the food but sadly, the food, is what I like the less about Oman, so nothing out of the ordinary there. The breakfast is decent but I found the a la carte and buffet choices for dinner really poor and uninspiring. If they improved their food offering, this would be a fabulous hotel.
